Notes From The Winemaker:
CULT is a Napa Valley Mountain Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. CULT has pointed entry of black fruit, cherry, tobacco box, cocoa, and espresso. Softly structured tannins lead to a full finish of 60 seconds plus.

Ratings / Reviews:
92 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:"My least favorite of these wines (although still outstanding) are the
400 cases of the 2008 Cult, which come from a single-vineyard parcel
within the holdings of Beau Vigne. Aged 22 months in mostly French oak,
the wine has a deep ruby/purple color and plenty of black cherry and
black currant fruit, with hints of licorice, graphite, herbs and smoke.
It is medium to full-bodied, still somewhat closed, but promising.
This
is one of my favorite unheralded producers in Napa Valley. The wines
have off-the-charts richness, great balance, and the potential (at least
in the case of the Juliet and the Reserve) to be aged for 20 or more
years. There is a striking purity and intensity to these wines that
merits serious attention. They all come from a small nine-acre vineyard
in the Stags Leap appellation." ( Dec 2010)
92 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:Fresh, clean, complex aromas of baking spice, currant, black cherry, roasted plum, mineral and cedar lead to a full body, and this is elegant, focused and persistent on the finish, showing depth without weight. Drink now through 2021.—J.L.
