This wine is dedicated to Donato Giacosa, also called “papà Narin”, and it is the result of the production of three different vineyards, Ovello, Cole and Asili.

Its colour is a deep and warm garnet red, and its nose reveals elegant notes of fruit jam, cherries preserved in alcohol, withered flowers, anise and cinammon.

Its flavour is round, warm, balanced and persistent.

The yearly production is about 7000 bottles and 300 magnums, the whole extention of the vineyards is 1.1 h.


What Does It Taste Like?

This Piemontese treasure highlights flavors of dried cherries and other red fruits, with other scents ranging from wild roses to truffles to cinnamon, balanced by oak, lending the wine complexity. This red balances sweet, savory and spicy elements that tingle on the palate making it a perfect match for mushroom risottos, rich cheeses and truffle based dishes.
