Notes from the Winemaker:

Winemaker Tim Callahan was the winemaker at Koves-Newlan in Yountville when he custom-crushed this wine for negociant Crescendo Hills Vineyard at Artesa Winery in the Carneros. However, the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes came from Koves-Newlan’s estate vineyard (the Malbec, Cab Franc and Petit Verdot are from the Hillview Vineyard just a half-mile up the road and south of Yountville). K-N since has been sold, so Callahan is now the winemaker for Crescendo.

Crescendo Hills Vineyard is a project 20 years in the making.  Their founder, a veteran of the wine industry, had always envisioned one day creating his own wines of the utmost quality.

This ultra-premium Cabernet Sauvignon is in dedication to the rich history of the Napa Valley and the incredible wines of California.
