A nice rustic edge frames the chestnut, black tea, bittersweet cocoa and mulled blackberry flavors in this slightly burly, grippy version. Lingering olive and tar notes add length and heft. For fans of the gutsy style. Drink now through 2010. 500 cases made. –JM
