About This Wine:It’s hard to believe that we could experience a wine that surpasses the outstanding 2006 in both concentration and silky power, but the 2007 does—with even more precision and energy. This is the Châteauneuf killer—one sip and you’ll be converted. A blend of Grenache, Syrah and a touch of Mourvèdre, hand-harvested and sorted from multiple passes from a steep mountain vineyard perched on the sides of the Dentelles de Montmirail; aged primarily in older barrels. A knock-out wine.
