About This Wine:

The property is a land grant from Charles XIII in 1495, called the Baronnie de Sarret. The vineyard size is 518 acres (approximately) planted to multiple varietals. The wines are cold fermented in stainless, and the reds are barrel aged for 4-6 months. Owner, Arnould de Bertier, receives technical assistance from a New Zealand winemaker.

What Does It Taste Like?

This Pinot Noir is the perfect mix between the plush California-style Pinots, & the beautiful, elegant & polished Pinots from France. Perfumed w/ bing cherries & red fruit aromas, this medium-bodied wine has bright flavors of strawberries & cherries upfront. The mid-palate is intriguingly earthy with wild mushroom profiles and herbal nuances. This pleasant experience finishes silky smooth.
