Notes from the Winemaker:

The wine has a fine pale peach color with crystalline shimmers of pink-gold. The expressive, fine, delicate nose gives off aromas of peach, citrus fruit and white flowers such as hawthorn. A rich and full-bodied structure follows a lively and firm attack. There is a subtle balance of aromas between hints of fresh fruit (apricot and nectarine) and the smooth, floral notes of lilac. The finish is full-bodied and smooth enhanced by mild spices. This elegant and harmonious wine can be an aperitif or accompany Provençale cuisine.

Blend: 40% Grenache, 40% Cinsault, 14% Syrah, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon

Ratings & Reviews

91 Points - Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar:
"(a blend of cabernet sauvignon, grenache and cinsault):  Light, bright peach skin color.  Lively, mineral-accented aromas of orange zest, strawberry and honeysuckle, along with a hint of herbs.  Nervy and refreshingly brisk on the palate, offering pure red berry and citrus flavors underscored by a chalky quality.  Finishes dry and clean, with strong cut and lingering florality.  I really like this wine's balance and focus." - Josh Raynolds (Jun '11)

90 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"A rich, fat wine, with the weight of concentrated red fruits laced with pear and a touch of spice. There is a vanilla layer that adds extra complexity."  — R.V.  (8/1/2011)

90 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine (2009 vintage):
"This serious rosé has a pretty coppery color, with full-bore flavors of dried mango, cherry and plum that are flanked by rich glazed ginger notes. Shows hints of white chocolate and coffee on the finish. Drink now. 10,000 cases imported." –KM (June 30, 2010)
