Ratings & Reviews
91+ Points - Daily Grape:
"On the sniffy sniff, I get a wonderful explosive white candy meets anis
meets licorice meets pear-puree and I'm really falling in love with it.
On the palate, it shows more density and fruit than a lot of wines in
its category. Really quite impressive." - Gary Vaynerchuk
90 Points - Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar:
Bright gold. Pungent, lees-accented aromas of lemon rind, nectarine, anise and white flowers. Supple, juicy and penetrating, with very good depth to the citrus zest and pit fruit flavors. At once tactile and lithe. Vibrant and well-delineated on the finish, with the anise note echoing.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:"Bodega Finca Nueva’s 2009 Blanco is a blend of 70% Viura and 30% Malvasia sourced from old vines. It was fermented and aged in French oak for 3 months. Aromas of white flowers, mineral, melon, and baking spices inform the nose of this concentrated, flavorful, smooth-textured white. Nicely proportioned and moderately lengthy, it will deliver enjoyment for another 2-3 years." - Jay Miller (June 2011)
