Chardonnay for Bolder Foods |

This is a Chardonnay for people who like a bigger, bolder style. While not an eighties-style over-oaked buttery monster, it shows some oakey complexity with zingy acidity and finishes with a somewhat steely lingering finish. Nose reveals floral notes and a touch of honey with kiwi, fig and pineapple aromas.
This is a wine that can hold its own against richer foods such as aged cheeses and rich creamy sauces. Try it with a grilled cheese sandwich made from aged Emmental or figs stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in Prosciutto.
