Tasting Notes:

Beautiful straw colour with hints of pale gold. The nose is subtle and complex, developing aromas of ripe fruit (quince, pear and pineapple) as it is swirled in the glass. In the mouth, after a full-bodied attack, it is rounded and flavourful with a pleasant fruity finish. A wine that will go well with white meats and cheese or as an aperitif.

About this Wine:

Réserve Bordeaux Red and Réserve Bordeaux White are produced from selections of batches from the finest Bordeaux soils. They unite the finest successes of the year from all of the Bordeaux vineyards to create one of the finest blends, produced in the tradition of fine Bordeaux wines which are balanced rather than woody. Most of the selected wines come from Entre-Deux-Mers and Côtes de Bordeaux.

Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and Muscadelle.

Average annual production:
15 000 cases.

2009 met the five conditions necessary for a great vintage: early flowering, an early start to the ripening stage, a warm, dry August and September, completely ripe grapes and perfect weather for the harvests. The Semillon did particularly well in these remarkable conditions, presenting exceptional strength and complexity, and dominating the blend.
