Notes from the Winemaker:

Layered fruit aromatics jump out of the glass upon approach. Mission Figs, stewed strawberries, and dried cranberries are the core fruit aromas displayed by this wine. These are accentuated by Mexican cinnamon and mocha notes contributed by the French oak barrels. The first sip is inviting and enticing. The entry has a soft, chamois like smoothness to the mouth feel. Flavors of dried cherries, strawberry rhubarb and graham cracker are apparent. The wine’s finish is emblematic of Rutherford’s dusty coco powder like tannins.
