About the Beer:
Brewed to celebrate our 25th anniversary, BLONDE DE L’ENFER (Blonde from hell) is UNIBROUE’S take on a classic style, the Belgian Strong Golden Ale. These ales are traditionally named after hellish demons due to their lust for power and in reference to the beer’s deceitful drinkability.

Brewed with a unique Belgian yeast strain, this sinfully smooth refermented specialty ale is such a wolf in sheep’s clothing, artfully crafted for a delicate balance of spice, malt, and hop flavors with a fine champagne-like effervescence.

It's the beer the monks drink! Brewed with dried orange peel and coriander, this spicy ale was created by the Trappist monks at Scourmont Abbey in Belgium to pair with their evening meals. Now, for the first time since 1862, the monks are making their "table beer" available outside of the monastery. Highly session-able; savor with meals large and small. Chimay ales are produced by the Trappist monks of Notre-Dame de Scourmont Abbey in Belgium, using water drawn from protected wells on the monastery grounds. As much as 90% of the profits go to charity. 4.8% ABV, serve 39°F to 43°F.

Anderson Valley Brewing "Thribble Currant" Sour Wheat (22oz)
Anderson Valley Brewing "Thribble Currant" Sour Wheat (22oz)
Price: $14.94 + $0.05 CRV = $14.99

Born from an experimental fermentation project, Thribble Currant is a truly unique American sour ale. It’s produced by taking our Brother David’s Triple wort from the kettle and adding it to wine barrels to ferment with our Horse Tongue Wheat sour culture. That’s right: no brewer’s yeast or stainless steel here; it’s 100% barrel-fermented with wild yeast and bacteria. After primary fermentation has ended (several months or more), a healthy dose of black currants is added, providing natural sugars to encourage additional fermentation. It will spend upwards of a year or more in the barrel until it has matured and reached the perfect balance of sourness and complexity. The resulting beer is a deep burgundy color with a bracing sourness and subtle sweetness with hints of oak, dark fruit, and wild berry.

Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White is unique and truly refreshing. Brewed with a generous portion of wheat and our own special blend of spices, this beer is light and slightly cloudy in appearance, with a spicy aroma. Overall, it is a beer that is very drinkable and smooth any time of the year.

About This Beer:

Two heavyweights with complex flavors meet head-on in this one-of-a-kind IPA. Mosaic - probably one of the most aptly namedo hops - fuses an array of tropical fruits, citrus and berry with mild herbal, earthy and pine characteristic. Gray Eureka hops emphasize heavy pine, underlined by mild floral notes and rounded out with dank aromas.

No more than 30 days after our whiskey barrels are dumped in Kentucky, they are at the brewery being filled with beer. This ensures that every batch gets a rich Rye whiskey finish and notes of toffee, chocolate, oak and vanilla. Because we buy barrels from the cooper to age our whiskey, and then we monitor that maturation process over the years until we bottle our whiskey, we have complete control over the age and type of barrels we use. We think that is a big reason why this beer has come out with such uniquely rich flavor and taste. Cheers!

Harvest.......The wild idea to use the microflora derived from the Petrus Oak foeders into another beer has never seen before. Through a new technique at Brewery De Brabandere they are able to harvest those wild yeasts and bacteria that live on the inside of the oak foeders .
