91 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"From the home vineyards of the Saget family, this a warm and generous wine. While endowed with many green Sauvignon Blanc characteristics, the tropical fruit style makes it feel rich. As it ages, it will offer even more complex flavors. Drink from 2015." - Roger Voss (4/1/2014)

92 Points - Vinous Media:
"Col d'Orcia's 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Vendemmia is all finesse. Sweet floral and spiced notes open up in the glass, followed by veins of bright red stone fruits. Hints of orange peel and white pepper add an attractive, beguiling upper register of aromatics. The 2010 is still a bit raw and much less expressive than it was from barrel, but it is promising." -Antonio Galloni (2/2015)

89 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate shows similar suppleness to the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon label, sweet tannin, copious quantities of blue and black fruits, a judicious use of oak and a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel. Both wines are enjoyable, but seem to lack nuance and complexity. Of course, that’s subjective, I just don’t find it with these two wines – which were otherwise quite well-made." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (Oct 2014)

91-94 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"From St. Helena in Napa, the Cabernet Sauvignons were tasted too late for the big Napa report published in the October issue. Both are nearly all Cabernet Sauvignon with a small dosage of Petit Verdot that come from a vineyard on Glass Mountain planted in Obsidian and clay soils. The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Mon Hommage is another animal altogether. It reminded me of some of the Araujo Cabernets. Floral, black raspberry and black currant notes intermixed with a touch of new oak are followed by terrific fruit on the attack, mid-palate and finish. This impressive, full-throttle Cabernet Sauvignon should drink well for 15 or more years." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (Dec 2013)

94 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino ushers forth a new stylistic chapter in the wines of Marchesi de' Frescobaldi. Gone are those overt oak notes of cinnamon, dark chocolate and moist chewing tobacco. Instead, this fresh and streamlined wine renews its effort to put Sangiovese in prime positioning. The bouquet shows dark cherry, ginger and grilled herb. Instead of immediacy, this wine is engineered for longevity and that comes as a surprise considering that Castelgiocondo has historically been one of the biggest advocates of what is now dubbed "international" Brunello. With the 2010 vintage, this estate goes back to its traditional roots. The wine is young now and needs about five more years to complete its cellar evolution." - Monica Larner (Feb 2015)

91 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2007 Imperial Gran Reserva Brut is a blend of 50% Xarello, 40% Macabeu and 10% Chardonnay from 25 to 30-year-old vines with four to five years aging on the lees. It has a lifted bouquet of dried honey, with notes of spice and wet wool emerging from its secondary aromas. The palate has a crisp entry with a touch of shellfish and lemon peel, striking acidity that lends tension and vivacity with a hint of brioche towards the finish. Impressive! Drink now-2017+" - Neal Martin (Apr 2012)

96 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"This wine is superb. With its power and structure it will age over 20 years or more. Backed by blackcurrant and jelly flavors, it shows great fruity attractiveness even at this early stage in its development. It will develop slowly and evenly to become a reference point for the vintage." - Roger Voss (6/1/2003)

92 Points- Antonio Galloni's Vinous Media:
The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon from Michael Mondavi's Animo label is laced with ash, plum, graphite, smoke, incense, tobacco and licorice. With time in the glass, the fruit begins to emerge in a lush, full-bodied wine with considerable richness for the year. The Atlas Peak tannins are there, but they are nearly buried by the pure extract and concentration of the fruit. Graphite, smoke, white pepper add complexity on the close. This is an especially juicy style for the year, but it works. -- Antonio Galloni (Nov. 2013)

92 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
“Glazed apple and pineapple sorbet frame the nose on this offering from Central Coast veteran Stephen Ross Dooley, who makes his wine in one of San Luis Obispo’s only urban wineries. The wine is very full and soft on the palate, with round, traditional Chardonnay flavors and a satisfying balance between ripe, rich fruit and lingering acidity. The finishing flavor feel more oak-derived than acidity-fueled." — M.K. (9/1/2014)
