94 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2010 Amarone della Valpolicella sees fruit sourced from various vineyard sites. The blend of fruit is Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Rossignola, Oseleta, Negrara and Dindarella that all see up to four months of appassimento (air-drying in ventilated rooms). The wine offers Tedeschi's distinctive sweetness - a quality that I assign specifically to this producer - backed by a tight tannic structure. This Amarone promises a long aging future ahead." - Monica Larner (Feb 2015)

Tasting Notes:
The warm vintage resulted in tropical fruit aromas, including pineapple and star fruit mingling with the perfume of apricots and apple-pears. On the palate fresh stone-fruit and lychee flavors are balanced by a touch of oak.

Food Pairing:
No wallflower, this wine has bold enough flavors to be paired with a wide range of dishes. Some of our favorites are Chinese chicken salad, barbecued shrimp, grilled artichokes and soft cheeses such as brie and Havarti.

87-90 Points - Stephen Tanzer:
"(80% merlot, 10% cabernet franc and 10% cabernet sauvignon): Bright ruby. Intensely fruity red berries lifted by white pepper on the fragrant nose. Soft and supple on entry, then peppery and lively in the middle. The bright red fruit flavors carry through to a clean finish, which features chewy tannins. Should be a terrific wine for the money. This property is owned by Jean-Luc Thunevin's daughter Virginie." - Ian D'Agata (May 2012)

"Smoke, tobacco and tar are most prominent in this weighty wine that’s soft in big blackberry flavor and pungent earth. Velvety on the palate, it finishes full and ripe, a perfect companion to barbecue or a sizable cigar." - Virginie Boone (2/1/2015)

Wine Enthusiast:
"Black currant and plum aromas include toasty notes with hints of crushed brick and clove. The palate immediately registers as syrupy and soft, while the flavor profile centers around roasted, savory, barbecued flavors that finish meaty and loamy. This is a ripe wine made from Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit-Verdot." - Michael Schachner - (2/1/2015)

91 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"The winery is making new strides by finding the best sites for its wines rather than trying to grow everything on its estate. This Chardonnay is a case in point. High in acidity and low in oak influence, it offers restrained layers of tropical mango, lemon and ginger snap."

91 Points - Decanter Magazine:
"A style very close to Burgundy. Abundant aromas of fresh apple and pear, laced with intriguing hints of lemon custard, flinty and a gentle touch of integrated vanilla and spices from French oak. The mid-palate is creamy and complete, with a firm acidity that carries through the persistent finish. "

90 Points -
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2012 Chardonnay is raised in Burgundy barrels. It has an orthodox, creamy, slightly buttery bouquet that does not own the energy of the unoaked version, but is nicely controlled. The palate is nicely balanced with a rounded, marmalade tinged opening, plenty of lime zest and apricot fruit and the oak remaining well-behaved and out of the limelight on the finish."
