About This Wine:
Here's a wine from the jet-black volcanic soils of the north slope of Mount Etna in Sicily. It is made from 80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% Nerello Cappuccio, two indigenous Italian varieties with great complexity. Juicy, with lipsmacking acidity, this dark rose offers essences of blood orange, plums, cherry, and exotic spices. What a terrific barbecue wine for the Northern California summer.
