We love Cabernet Franc and are excited to offer our first SCM appellation blend of this misunderstood variety. Cabernet Franc is less tannic that its progeny, Cabernet Sauvignon, but has a seemingly endless array of aromatic complexity. Savory herbs, red fruit and new leather notes are just a few of the myriad of flavors present. This wine is silky and rich. It hangs its hat on complexity; it continues to evolve in the glass with great poise and balance- a tightrope walker of the wine world if you will! This wine is ready to go on release and should continue to gain complexity and length over the next 3-6 years.
