The wine shows an intense golden yellow color with greenish hues. Clear and bright. Aromas of citrus peel, stone fruits and intense notes of white flowers such as freesia and jasmine. Excellent structure, well integrated and balanced acidity, candied orange peel, silky and unctuous. Pairs well with seafood or as an appetizer.

90 Points - Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar ('08 vintage):"Pale yellow. Orange blossom, candied lemon peel, white flowers and spices on the nose, with high tones of clove and spearmint emerging with aeration. Not at all a viscous style of sweet torrontes; in fact, this rather light and very fresh wine comes across as just off-dry, with a firm acid spine lifting the flavors of citrus peel and spices. Boasts sneaky intensity and captivating inner-mouth floral character. A very sexy wine with a smooth, floral finish. I've had dry torrontes that comes across as heavier than this wine! Would make a lovely aperitif." -Stephen Tanzer (Jan/Feb '10)
Focus on ArgentinaBy Stephen Tanzer of International Wine Cellar
"My
tastings of new releases from Argentina turned up a higher percentage
of well-made wines than ever before, thanks in part to an extended run
of very good to excellent vintages. My annual coverage features a
generous selection of stunning values in the under-$20 range, as well as
a growing number of world-class higher-priced items. In addition to
malbec, cabernet sauvignon and torrontes stood out in my tastings this
year."
