About This Sake:

One of the northern-most prefectures of Japan, Iwate is famous for its "Nanbu" style of sake brewing. Its brutal winters and abundant nature produce some of the most pristine waters in Japan. This water in turn produces the beautiful, crystal-clear Nanbu brew.

Brewed in the purest of the "Nanbu" sake-making tradition which began in the 1100s. Enjoy this smooth, rich deliciousness with a hint of melon-sweetness. A Vibrant aromas, bold flavor, and a pleasant, lingering after taste.

Food Pairing: Fine cheeses, smoked or fresh fish, caviar, green salads and lighter affairs.
