Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (2008 vintage):

Creamy pear and honeydew notes linger on the finish, which echoes the floral note." - Josh Raynolds (Nov/Dec '10)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2009 Pinot Noir Julia’s Vineyard flows from the glass with layers of sweet candied fruit, raspberries, flowers and spices. The Julia’s is impressive for its expressive varietal character and excellent balance, both quite an achievement for a wine with a 60,000 case production. This was fermented in oak barrels (27% new) and aged on its lees with batonnage for seven months. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014." - Antonio Galloni (Aug 2011)

92-94 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Formerly known as El Corazon de Jonata, the 2007 Todos is a proprietary blend of 45% Syrah, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest small amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Viognier, and Sangiovese. Fragrant aromatics (spring flowers, red and blue fruits) are followed by a wine with excellent ripeness, sweet fruit, velvety tannins, and loads of complexity. This, along with the Sangiovese, is the most evolved 2007, and should be drunk in its first decade of life." -Robert Parker (8/2009)

94 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"This wine is dry and crisp and enormously complex. It flatters the palate with waves of blackberries, cherries, currants, tangerines, bacon, white pepper and sweet vanilla oak, and the all-important tannin structure is fine. It’s 94% Syrah, while 6% Viognier brings the perfect bite of acidity and citrus." — S.H.  (12/31/2010)

91 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (2007 vintage):
"The 2007 Syrah The Big Easy is a richer, fuller-bodied, more powerful wine, but, in keeping with Fess Parker’s stylistic orientation, it remains very approachable with silky tannins as well as more oak and flesh. It is a deep, chewy, rich effort displaying plenty of blackberry, incense, and toasty oak notes. Full-bodied and opulent, it is best consumed over the next 7-8 years." -Robert Parker (Aug 2010)

Aromas of apple, pear and pineapple combine with a Touch of oak, melon and white flowers to create this refreshing chardonnay. The palate shares lush citrus flavors followed by distinct layers of apple, honey, pear and a hint of light cream & lemon that couple with great texture and balance making it a great food friendly wine. Pairs perfectly with crab cakes, roasted game hen or grilled pork chops.

2009 marks another great vintage for Central Coast Pinot Noir under À Côté. An homage to the delicious Bourgogne Rouge I so often drink, the wine is harmonized to display the regional characteristics of the diverse but focused, cool climate, Central Coast AVA of California.

The larger component, Cedar Lane Vineyard from the Arroyo Seco in Monterey (72%), contributes spice, and red fruit elements. The old vines of the Sierra Madre Vineyard (9%) fill out the mid-palate, and adds nuance and complexity. French Camp in Paso Robles (19%) adds weight and a chewy texture to this balanced Pinot Noir.
