Bursting from the glass are notes of cranberry and juicy mulberry, followed by sarsaparilla and freshly-grated nutmeg. Bright, crisp acidity frames youthful avors of pomegranate, red cherry and sandalwood with a hint of the classic Laetitia spice. Although very approachablenow, this wine will age gracefully for years to come. Look to pair with cedar-plank salmon and roasted mushrooms with herbs and goat cheese.

A rich plum hue and intense candied cherry, leather, white pepper and true Cuban-cigar box aromas mark the 2012 vintage of our Reserve Pinot Noir. The thick bouquet lingers and continues on to the palate with complex layers of black fruits, rich mocha and baking spice lingering to the finish.

92 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
“Glazed apple and pineapple sorbet frame the nose on this offering from Central Coast veteran Stephen Ross Dooley, who makes his wine in one of San Luis Obispo’s only urban wineries. The wine is very full and soft on the palate, with round, traditional Chardonnay flavors and a satisfying balance between ripe, rich fruit and lingering acidity. The finishing flavor feel more oak-derived than acidity-fueled." — M.K. (9/1/2014)

As we think rosé should be, this wine is brilliantly clear and very light salmon pink in color. The nose jumps out and makes a big statement for “crisp strawberry”. It is a gorgeous rosé with refreshing acidity, and very pretty flavors reminiscent of red fruits and watermelon as well as floral notes of rose petals. Very few can resist its charm. Serve chilled.

91 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"More masculine (very common for all varieties from Bien Nacido) with lots of minerality, leather, gunpowder and meaty qualities that are grounded by a core of smoky dark fruit, the 2010 Syrah Bien Nacido Vineyard is a structured, tannic effort that needs 2-3 years of bottle age. It will have 10-12+ years of ultimate longevity. Drink 2015-2022." - Jeb Dunnuck (Aug 2013)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Playing in that same ballpark and a solid representation of the variety, the 2012 Pinot Gris is lively, perfumed and fresh, with plenty of lemongrass, citrus rind and hints of minerality to go with a medium-bodied, deliciously fresh and clean palate. A perfect hot summer day quaffer, it should drink nicely for a year or two. Drink now-2014." - Jeb Dunnuck (Aug 2013)

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"More juicy and fresh, with better acidity and overall integration, the 2012 Grenache Blanc is well done. Offering up big crushed stone-like minerality, green herbs and citrus aromas and flavors, it’s a medium-bodied, lively and pure white that’s perfect for a hot summer day. It’s also a superb value and should be purchased in multiple bottle lots. Drink now-2014." - Jeb Dunnuck (Aug 2013)

“Coming in at the less-oaked end of the California Chardonnay scale, this presents aromas of slate, graphite and cut grass. It delivers those same flavors to the palate as well as some green pear. It’s restrained, yet still New World.” – Matt Kettmann (8/1/2014)

90 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine (2012 vintage):
"Tangent’s unoaked Sauvignon Blancs are consistently good, and make versatile wines for food pairing. This 2012 vintage really defines their style. The wine is rich and dry in honey, limes, lemons and nectarines, with acidity so tart, it makes the mouth water. The winemaker suggests pairing with oysters, but it will go with almost anything." -S.H. 12/31/13
