95+ Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2006 Insignia (95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot; 16,000 cases produced) is a superb effort in this vintage. Another 30+ year wine, it boasts a dense plum/purple color as well as abundant notes of licorice, black currants, charcoal, black olives, and graphite. Full-bodied, pure, and rich with moderately high tannins, it represents a California version of a Bordeaux from Pauillac or St.-Julien. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2045.

In case you think the aging curves I have described are unrealistically long, I have the Joseph Phelps regular Cabernets from the mid-seventies as well as the Insignias in my cellar, and those wines are still drinking beautifully at 30+ years of age. Today’s wines are better made." - Robert Parker (12/2009)

94 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"Dazzling. Easily the best Groth Cabernet in many years, dry, full-bodied and crazily rich in blackberries, cherries, tobacco and new oak. The ripe, sweet fruit is held in check by brisk acidity and firm tannins, resulting in an exciting tension. Beautiful now, and should develop gracefully throughout the decade." —S.H. (Feb 2012)

"Ratcheting up the level of concentration, power, extract, tannin and intensity, the 2009 St.-Joseph Francois de Tournon exhibits licorice, cassis, graphite and earth in its full-bodied, rich, well-balanced personality. It should drink well for 10-15 years." - Robert Parker (Feb 2011)

Rank #36 on Top 100 Wines of 2011, 93 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"Very silky and floral, this red reminds me of Burgundy with its bilberry, violet and raspberry aromas and flavors. The grainy tannins show the other side to this wine, which needs time for the two components to balance. Ends with a long, intense, fruit-filled finish. Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best from 2014 through 2027. 12,500 cases made." –BS (Oct 31, 2011)

A full-bodied orchestration of flavors at the end weave together into a tapered finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2022." -J.L. (Mar. 2011)

Jonata
Jonata "Todos" Proprietary Red Blend 2007 (Santa Ynez Valley, California) - [RP 92-94] [ST 91]
Retail Price: $75.00
Artisan Wine Depot Price: $44.99
You save $30.01!

92-94 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Formerly known as El Corazon de Jonata, the 2007 Todos is a proprietary blend of 45% Syrah, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest small amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Viognier, and Sangiovese. Fragrant aromatics (spring flowers, red and blue fruits) are followed by a wine with excellent ripeness, sweet fruit, velvety tannins, and loads of complexity. This, along with the Sangiovese, is the most evolved 2007, and should be drunk in its first decade of life." -Robert Parker (8/2009)

Tasting note by Véronique Boss-Drouhin:
"A delicious red Burgundy, with harmonious flavours. Bright ruby colour. On the nose, intense aromas of wild cherry, liquorice and mild spices, evolving towards notes of undergrowth and mushroom. On the palate, excellent balance between tannin, acidity and "gras" (velvety texture). The aftertaste is reminiscent of little red berries".
Moet Chandon
Moet Chandon "Dom Perignon" 2002 with 2 Crystal Flutes Gift Pack (Champagne, France) - [RP 96] [W&S 96] [WS 95]
Retail Price: $230.00
Artisan Wine Depot Price: $139.99
You save $90.01!

96 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2002 Dom Perignon is at first intensely floral, with perfumed jasmine that dominates the bouquet. With time in the glass the wine gains richness as the flavors turn decidedly riper and almost tropical. Ripe apricots, passion fruit and peaches emerge from this flashy, opulent Dom Perignon. The wine’s volume makes it approachable today, but readers in search of more complexity will want to cellar this for at least a few years to allow for some of the baby fat to drop off. Geoffroy describes the vintage as very ripe and adds that some of the Chardonnay showed the ill-effects of the hot growing season in it the somewhat burned, dehydrated fruit that came in that year. This bottle was disgorged in July, 2009. To be released summer 2010. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2032" - Antonion Galloni (3/2010)
