92 Points & "Cellar Selection" - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"From Chilean winemaker Aurelio Montes comes this Cab of considerable depth and power. It shows well-developed blackberry and cassis flavors. The tannins are significant. Give it until 2011 to begin to open, and it should drink well through 2014. Cellar Selection." S.H.  (3/1/2010)

"Pretty savory tones and barbecue aromas are combined here to create a bold and determined Brunello. Ripe fruit, black pepper, rum cake, black currant and blackberry preserves all appear in the background. Silky-smooth and firm, Shows a clean, sharp, bold close." —M.L.  (1/19/2012)

CASE PRICE = $47.99 per bottle (add 12+ quantity to your basket)

94 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2007 Barbaresco Riserva Montestefano is another fabulous wine. It is completely different than the Montefico, even though the vineyards are literally next to each other. The Montestefano shows quite a bit more fruit than the Montefico, with silky, polished tannins that convey an impression of sensual elegance. Crushed flowers, mint, licorice and dark red cherries are some of the notes that wrap around the deep finish. This is a fabulous Montestefano. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2032." - Antonio Galloni (Oct 2011)

Produttori del Barbaresco Riserva
Produttori del Barbaresco Riserva "Montefico" D.O.C.G. 2007 (Piedmont, Italy) - [RP 93] [ST 91+]

Artisan Wine Depot Price: $48.99
You save $16.01!

CASE PRICE = $47.99 per bottle (add 12+ quantity to your basket)
93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2007 Barbaresco Riserva Montefico is all about energy and sheer power. The Montefico is quite virile, even in this vintage, with a certain austerity in the tannin that will require time in bottle to soften. Dark red fruit, leather, anise and spices are some of the notes that wrap around the insistent, pointed finish. There is plenty of nuance here, but not the early appeal of the year. This is a great showing, but readers will need to be patient. Anticipated maturity: 2017- 2029." - Antonio Galloni (Oct 2011)

Produttori del Barbaresco Riserva
Produttori del Barbaresco Riserva "Asili" D.O.C.G. 2007 (Piedmont, Italy) - [RP 94] [ST 92]
Retail Price: $70.00
Artisan Wine Depot Price: $48.99
You save $21.01!

CASE PRICE = $47.99 per bottle (add 12+ quantity to your basket)

94 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2007 Barbaresco Riserva Asili is a huge wine. In some ways it reminds me of the 2004 because of its silkiness, but the 2007 is a richer wine with more weight, glycerin and body. Sweet cherries, flowers, hard candy and spices are woven together beautifully through to the plush, enveloping finish. Despite the power and richness there is plenty of Asili character in the glass. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2032." - Antonio Galloni (Oct 2011)

Cheval des Andes 2007 (Mendoza, Argentina) - [RP 95]

Artisan Wine Depot Price: $64.99

CASE PRICE = $59.99 per bottle (add 12+ quantity to your basket)

95 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"There are no doubts about the 2007 Cheval des Andes, always a candidate for wine of the vintage. Composed of 60% Malbec, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the balance Merlot and Petit Verdot, it spent 18 months in new French oak. This leads to an enthralling nose of sandalwood, floral notes, exotic spices, a velvety texture, complex flavors, and an overall suave personality in the manner of a First Growth Bordeaux. It gracefully combines elegance and power in a wine that will continue to evolve for another 6-8 years. It will see its 20th birthday and likely many more in peak form." - Jay Miller (Dec 2011)

93 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"From fashion designer Roberto Cavalli’s wine estate (run by his son Tommaso), this elegant super Tuscan blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Alicante Bouschet opens with compelling intensity and pristine aromas of ripe blackberry, spice, leather and dark chocolate." —M.L.  (10/1/2011)

Fattoria di Felsina
Fattoria di Felsina "Fontalloro" Toscana I.G.T. 2008 (Tuscany, Italy) - [RP 94] [WS 90]
Retail Price: $55.00
Artisan Wine Depot Price: $41.99
You save $13.01!

CASE PRICE = $39.99 per bottle (add 12+ quantity to your basket)
94 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2008 Fontalloro is the yin to the Rancia’s yang. It is also characteristically beautiful, open and expressive at this stage. Layers of sweet red fruit, flowers and spices blossom effortlessly from the 2008 Fontalloro. The intensely saline finish that is present in the Rancia is found in Fontalloro as well. I am usually not the biggest fan of Fontalloro, but there is no denying the superb pedigree and sheer class of the 2008. This is a wonderfully, sophisticated, polished wine from Felsina. In 2008 the slightly drier microclimate at Fontalloro vis-a-vis Rancia is the main reason this wine is such a huge success in 2008. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2026." - Antonio Galloni (Aug 2011)

Di Majo Norante
Di Majo Norante "Ramitello" Rosso Molise I.G.T. 2003 (Molise, Italy) - [RP 90]
Retail Price: $20.00
Artisan Wine Depot Price: $14.99
You save $5.01!

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The outstanding 2003 Ramitello Rosso IGT is a blend of local grapes, including 80% Prugnolo and 20% Aglianico. Its big, rich nose of melted licorice, truffles, black currants, plums, and cherries is followed by a full-bodied wine with amazing concentration, beautiful sweet fruit, and admirable richness. This wine represents incredible value for the money." - Robert Parker (Jun 2006)

Artisan Wine Depot Price: $69.99
You save $15.01!

CASE PRICE = $68.99 per bottle (add 12+ quantity to your basket)
94+ Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is drop-dead gorgeous. Dark red fruit, tobacco, flowers and licorice emerge from this massive, powerful wine. The Reserve fleshes out beautifully on the palate as the fruit gains dimension and volume. Hints of licorice, menthol and tar wrap around the powerful, structured finish. This is a dazzling showing from Snowden. The 2009 harvest was not an easy one, but Diana Snowden Seysses did a brilliant job coping with the October rains. In 2009 the blend is 75.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19.1% Merlot, 3.8% Cabernet Franc and 1.6 % Petit Verdot. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2029." - Antonio Galloni (Dec 2011)
