93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (1980 vintage):
"This year is a perfect example of a vintage that was much better for the sweet wines of Barsac and Sauternes than it was for the red wines. Yquem produced its greatest wine since the twin titans of 1975 and 1976. Medium golden, with a big, opulent, honeyed, oaky, flowery, tropical fruit bouquet, this wine is rich and concentrated, has very good acidity, a lot of botrytis, and a stunning finish. It is a great success, and it continues to evolve at a snail's pace. Anticipated maturity: Now-2035. Last tasted, 12/90." - Robert Parker (Jan 1998)

97 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The favorite sweet wine of millionaires, Chateau d'Yquem has, not unexpectedly, turned in a brilliant effort with their newly released 1989. It is a large-scaled, massively rich, unctuously-textured wine that should evolve effortlessly for a half century or more. It does not reveal the compelling finesse and complexity of the 1988 or 1986, but it is a far heavier, richer wine than either of those vintages. It is reminiscent of the 1976, with additional fat and glycerin. The wine is extremely alcoholic and rich, with a huge nose of smoky, honey-covered coconuts and overripe pineapples and apricots. As with most young vintages of Yquem, the wine's structure is barely noticeable. These wines are so highly extracted and rich yet approachable young, it is difficult to believe they will last for 50 or more years. The 1989 is the richest Yquem made in the eighties, and it has an edge in complexity over the powerhouse 1983. It remains to be seen whether this wine will develop the extraordinary aromatic complexity possessed by the promising 1988 and 1986 Yquems." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (Dec 1997)

91 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Long-time American readers should already know this wine, as it has been a staple in the Eric Solomon portfolio for more than a decade. The 2016 Cotes du Rhone Andezon is 100% Syrah, aged entirely in tank. It's a lush, medium to full-bodied wine bursting with ripe blackberries and blueberries. No, it doesn't have the peppery spice of Syrah from the northern Rhône, but it does have enough cola-like spicy complexity to warrant an outstanding rating. Drink it over the next 3-4 years." - Joe Czerwinski (Nov 2017)

"Aromas of blueberries, blackberries and dried flowers plus hints of slate follow through to a full body, very fine tannins and a driven and linear finish. Orange peel and dried fruit. Sleek and racy. Ready to try in 2024." (May 29, 2018)

96 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Made from 100% Cabernet Franc, the 2015 Cabernet Franc Howell Mountain has a very deep purple-black color, revealing a drop dead gorgeous perfume of red roses, violets and black tea over a core of kirsch, red currants and black raspberries, with wafts of cinnamon stick and dried herbs. Medium-bodied, very finely textured and refreshing in the mouth, it offers wonderful perfumed red fruit layers and a long, mineral-laced finish. 522 cases produced." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (Dec 2017)

95 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (2014 vintage):
"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is 75.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and the rest Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec, aged in 89% new French oak. The wine displays the great fruit that is possible from these two sites owned by the Jacksons. It has an opaque purple color, a big, sweet kiss of crème de cassis and blackberry with a touch of lead pencil shavings, vanilla and incense. It is full-bodied and dense, with moderately high tannins but beautiful sweetness and fruit. Drink it over the next 25-30 years." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (28th Oct 2016)

93 Points & #88 Top 100 Wines of 2018 - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"This starts out with plenty of cherry, plum and orange peel flavors, offset by iron, eucalyptus and tobacco accents. The finish is rustic, with the tannins flexing their muscles, yet this comes together in the end. A wine for the long haul. Best from 2023 through 2040. 2,500 cases made." - BS (Dec 2018)

91-93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"A blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Artemis (a barrel sample) is a deep garnet-purple color with a lovely nose of pure cassis and blackberries with earth and herbal notions plus violets and an exotic spice waft. Medium to full-bodied, taut and muscular in the expressive mouth, it has grainy tannins and a long finish." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (Dec 2017)
