When the phrase “California Style Ale” is used, Poleeko Gold Pale Ale is the one that comes to mind. The golden color and generous use of Pacific Northwest hops establish a distinct style, separate from any domestic or European beers. Our honey-gold pale ale is crisp and clear, with an unusual lightness and dryness for such a full-flavored ale. The arousing abundance of hops adds both a floral bouquet and a lively, citrusy finish. It is excellent alone, or with full-flavored meals and spicy dishes.

Duchy Originals Ale is brewed in Oxfordshire using malted barley, hops, yeast and water to produce a traditional flavour. The barley, harvested from selected organic farms in Britain including the Home Farm at Highgrove is an old variety called Plummage Archer. It was developed in the 1900s and was the first barley bred specifically for commercial malting use. This traditional ale has a ruby colour and is rich in body with a balanced bitter flavour.

Gold Medal (93 - American Style Pale Ale) - 2008 World Beer Championships

Mirror Pond is just a short walk from the Deschutes Brewery & Public House in downtown Bend and reflects the Three Sisters Mountains. This scenic spot alongside the Deschutes River is the locals’ choice for summer festivals and concerts. The quintessential American pale ale, Mirror Pond elegantly blends the sweetness of malted barley with the bite of hops (which add bitterness and aroma). It's refreshing, loaded with strong hop flavors, and perfectly balanced.

GOLD MEDAL WINNER - 2008 GREAT AMERICAN BEER FEST

The way we see it, brewing a great Pale Ale is a lot like living a great life. It’s all about finding the perfect balance. Between work and play, art and commerce, and yes, hops and barley. Dial in each flavor and nuance just right, and it’s a beautiful thing.

Our Pale Ale has a fresh, hoppy aroma that comes from two (top secret) Northwest hop varieties, while two-row Pale and Crystal malt give it a mild sweetness that finishes clean and crisp. Feeling out of whack? Put on some music, crack a Pale Ale, and readjust your balance.

Brewed at one of Europe's last farmhouse breweries, in Hainaut province, Saison Dupoint is a 4-Star, world class example of the Belgian Saisons style. This increasingly rare specialty orginated before the age of refrigeration as a beer to be brewed in winter for summer drinking. The style required a beer sturdy enough to age in the bottle but refreshing enough to be enjoyed in warm weather. Saison Dupoint fits this description perfectly; it has a big fruity bouquet and a dense head. The taste begins with fruity essence but ends dry and very clean with a light, refreshing body.

Men's Journal called this beer "The Best Beer In The World. Period."
Moinette Artisanal Ale Blonde 8.5% (11.2 oz) CASE OF 24
Our Price: $111.19 Due to alcohol laws, we cannot ship any beers. Beers must be purchased and picked up locally in-store.

This strong bottle-conditioned ale comes from a well-known and respected Belgian farmhouse brewery, best known for its Saison. It pours a golden straw colour with a thick, fine-bubbled, long-lasting, luxuriant head. The aroma is crammed with light citrusy fruit - lemon, lime, orange, pineapple and grapefruit. There is also a slightly barnyardy hint suggesting the presence of some wild yeast. In the mouth the citrus fruit notes are again immediately apparent, with the addition of sharp green apple notes, though the dominant flavour is a hoppy, citrusy, bitter-lemon-and-grapefruit bitterness. Spice notes are also present - cinnamon and coriander. The alcohol comes through in the finish as a slight sweetening warmth in the back of the throat, along with a medicinal, phenolic lightness. Aftertaste is bitter-sweet while retaining the sharp fruitiness, especially the grapefruit notes, leaving a lingering tart bitterness. This is  a seriously refreshing, zesty beer that is very drinkable despite its strength - and very enjoyable too.
