Don de Dieu (Gift of God) was the name of the ship that Samuel de
Champlain sailed on his mission to “explore and discover the vast and
perilous land of America” in the name of the King of France. His travels
led to the founding of Quebec City in 1608 (a modification of the
Algonquin word “kebec” which means “where the river narrows”). Inspired
by this great adventure, Unibroue created Don de Dieu an abbey-style
triple wheat ale refermented in the bottle.

Strong Belgian type ale similar to a Port wine! Is as dark as can be, mellow in taste with an aroma of ripe fruits. It can be compared to an old porto and is brewed from well roasted malt.

Routes des épices (French for "Spice Route") is a rye beer brewed with
both black and green peppercorns. Initially, the beer reveals flavours
of fresh grain and malt, which give it notes of chocolate, caramel, and
fruit. The pepper flavour and aroma is fully revealed in the finish,
which leaves a pleasant, spicy, tingling sensation on the tongue.
This beer won a gold medal (second place amongst 10 gold medal winners)
at the adjudicated "MBeer" contest during the Mondial de la Bière in
Montréal in 2006.

Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes
from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas
and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer,
giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the
perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

The robust maltiness and spiciness of our amber-red ale is counterbalanced by an assertive hop finish, offering a distinctive flavor that is cognac-like in complexity. Whether it is paired with pasta marinara, a brick-oven pizza, Flemish stew, spice-rubbed pork tenderloin or dal makhani, Maudite is 'devilishly' satisfying. Maudite (Damned) was the first strong beer to be retailed in Québec. Its deliciously complex flavor improves with age.

La Fin du Monde is a deluxe beer made by triple fermentation and a unique way of straining the yeast. This method produces an unexpectedly subtle flavor. With its champagne-like effervescence, it has a vigorous presence in the mouth, which accentuates its strong personality. Slightly tart, with the balanced flavors of wild spices, malt and hops, it belongs to the class of great Trappist beers and, in this regard, is a North American first.
