97 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The winery flagship is the 2008 Reserve, a blend 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot, 11% Merlot, and 9% Cabernet Franc aged in barrel, some of it new, for 23 months. Sandalwood, exotic spices, herbs, violets, and assorted black fruits inform the nose of a layered, succulent, plush, bordering on opulent wine that is beautifully balanced and already complex. It will continue its development for at least another 5-6 years and offer a drinking window extending from 2016 to 2028+. " - Jay Miller (Aug 2011)

Artisan Wine Depot Price: $79.99

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The dark-colored 1998 Harrison Hill Vineyard was produced from vines planted in 1962. Black cherries, blackberries, and spices can be discerned in its aromatic profile. This plump, seamless, refined, light to medium-bodied, pure 1998 is filled with red and black fruit flavors. There are no hard edges. It is not a powerful wine, but one that delivers oodles of pleasure through its symmetry and detail. Drink it over the next decade." - Pierre Rovani (Oct 2001)

DeLille Cellars "Harrison Hill" Red Wine 1997 (Columbia Valley, Washington) - [RP 90]
Retail Price: $85.00
Artisan Wine Depot Price: $79.99
You save $5.01!

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"What is Harrison Hill, and why does it cost so much? One of the oldest (planted in ’62) vineyards in Washington, it includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot vines, all of which are used in this blend. Along with the cassis, black cherry and sweet chocolate/bitter coffee flavors one might expect from a high-end Washington red, there is an indefinable taste of terroir-flower, stone, earth, stable - that elevates the wine to the next level." —P.G.  (6/1/2000)

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The dark berry and herb-scented 1999 Harrison Hill is an elegant, juicy, spicy wine. Medium-bodied, it reveals gorgeous depth to its satin-textured, cherry, cassis, and spice-flavored character. Fresh herbs can be discerned in this wine's silky, expressive finish. It should be drunk over the next 10 years." - Pierre Rovani (Dec 2002)

Rank #3 - Wine Enthusiast's Top 100 Wines of 2011

Rank #3 on Top 100 Wines of 2011, 98 Points & "Editor's Choice" - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"Dense, aromatic, layered and rich, this wine explodes from the glass with scents and flavors of concentrated berries, cassis, black cherry, and more. The vines have reached a mature stage that amplifies the fruit and keeps the generous barrel flavors in perfect balance. The barrel notes roll on in a chorus of toasty accents, and the finish is as good in the last minute as the first whiff from the glass." —P.G.  (9/1/2011)

92 Points & "Cellar Selection" - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"Eroica has a proven ability to age; in fact it needs at least a half decade in the cellar to show its real strengths. Tight and packed with primary fruit flavors of lime and peach, this beautifully proportioned wine has perceptible sweetness but plenty of natural acidity. Lively and fresh today, but best given a few more years in the cellar." - P.G.  (12/15/2011)

93 Points - Wine & Spirits Magazine (2008 vintage):
"Spice-a hint of tobacco, a hint of milk chocolate-gives way to a ripe set of fruit flavors in this big shouldered, thoroughly seductive red. The texture is driven by fine, peppery tannins, which stem the tide of ripe, plummy fruit, giving the wine a touch of elegance even as it remains irrestible. It's drinking beautifully now; a by-the-case buy." (06/11)

"Focused, refined and appealing for its open-weave texture around a generous core of plum and currant fruit, finishing with hints of coffee and dark chocolate. Drink now through 2014." —H.S. (Dec 15, 2011)
