93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Barolo Gramolere is a classic feeling wine laced with dark
plums, prunes, spices, leather and licorice. Like so many 2006 Baroli,
the aromas tend towards the ethereal end of the spectrum. Crushed
flowers, herbs and licorice linger on the finish. This is a very pretty
Barolo from Manzone. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2026." - Antonio Galloni (Feb '11)

CASE PRICE = $89.99 per bottle (add 12+ quantity to your basket) 97 Points - James Suckling: "Subtle
yet complex aromas of peaches, plums and roses turn to walnuts,
hazelnuts, and spice. Full-bodied, with impressive intensity and
structure. A beautiful line to the wine with ultra-fine tannins and a
finish that lasts for minutes. Super focused. I like this better than
the 2007. Best in 2016." (July 2012)
93+ Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The
2008 Barolo Ornato is pretty, precise and delineated. This is a more
reserved style than has been typical of Ornato in previous years. The
French oak seems less obvious than in the past, while the flavor profile
is more classic. Layers of dark red berries, flowers, menthol, spicebox
and rose petals wrap around the powerful close. Overall, 2008 is
shaping up to be a very classic vintage for the Ornato. Anticipated
maturity: 2016-2028." - Antonio Galloni (Oct 2012)

93 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine: "Sweet
fruit is the overarching theme in this lush red. Cherry, raspberry,
eucalyptus, iron and tea flavors combine with the well-integrated
structure as this glides to an aftertaste of cherry and iron. Best from
2014 through 2026. 1,890 cases made." –BS (Nov 30, 2012)
92 Points - James Suckling: "I
love the nose of lavender, dried flowers and plum fruit. Full body,
with a solid core of fruit and bright berries. More raspberries than
anything else. Very structured and firm. Racy. Best in 2015." (July
19th, 2012)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Barolo Serralunga is a gorgeous mid-weight wine that captures
the essence of Serralunga in its dark red fruit, rose petals, tar and
licorice. This deceptively medium-bodied Barolo possesses striking depth
and fabulous overall balance for a straight Barolo bottling. I loved
it. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2023." - Antonio Galloni (Apr 2012)

96 Points - James Suckling: "This
is a big step up in quality for Damilano, who now controls the most
vineyards in the great Cannubi -- about 11 hectares. Sensual aromas of
dried flowers, sweet fruits and chocolate follow through to a full body,
with fine tannins and a delicious finish. Very fine indeed. Chewy.
Better in 2015." (July 19th, 2012)

CASE PRICE = $54.97 per bottle (add 12+ quantity to your basket)
93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Barolo Brunate-Cannubi is an unusual wine in that fruit from
such high-quality sites are seldom blended together these days. The
Brunate character seems to dominate in a deep, rich expression of dark
fruit, spices and menthol. The wine shows awesome balance in a powerful,
masculine style that will require a measure of patience. The
Brunate-Cannubi spent 24 months in French oak, 30% of which was new.
This is another impressive Barolo from Damilano. Anticipated maturity:
2011-2021." -Antonio Galloni (Oct 2009)

93 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine: "The beautiful Brunate cru is known for
heavier, darker expressions of Nebbiolo and this wine does a wonderful
job of showing off its territorial traits. Aromas here include coffee,
hazelnut, wild berries, tar, leather and exotic spice. It’s balanced and
firm and will surely evolve favorably over the next decade. "— M.L. (12/1/2010)
