About This Wine:

So what does one of Napa's greatest high-end, value-driven wineries do with all those leftovers from their 94+ scoring beauties?  They make Prologue, Conn Valley's version of a deuxieme vin that we'd see from a top Bordeaux chateau.  This wine is a knockout Napa Cab for the money, displaying all the finesse and hidden power of the Conn Valley wines in a more accessible package.  Lush, fruit-driven, but with a brightness and polish rare for wines in this price range, it is an amazing value.

The Anderson's Cabernets possess a rare elegence and finesse allied to abundant richness and intensity. The Anderson's wine making style has been artfully cultivated over the years and has been compared to Bordeaux.

What Does It Taste Like?

Normally only sold at the winery, this full bodied, powerful yet balanced Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits ripe, rich dark cherry and warm chocolate wrapped around a core of rounded, zesty acidity. Flavorful and supple, delightfully fresh on the palate, where its cherry, violet, sandalwood, toast and vanilla flavors linger beautifully along with silky tannins.
