Notes from the Brewery:St Martin's life was a voyage profoundly marked by sharing and self-sacrifice. Founded in 1096, the Abbey of Saint Martin at Tours (Tournai) in Belgium perpetuated his teachings. Today, following the St Martin tradition, the recipes developed by the monks and handed down to our master brewers are being shared with you and your friends.
Abbey beers - In former times (since 1096) brewed in the St Martin's Abbey in Tournay. Our brewmaster is perpetuating this tradition, following the same spirit and using the purest ingredients.
Three varieties of malt and three of hops create the robust character of this triple-strength 9% pale beer.
The St. Martin Triple is a classic example of this Belgian style, which features triple fermentation and was originally brewed for special events.
This Triple has a full robust character with some sweetness and yeast finishing.
You can also taste the bitterness of the Saaz hops. This Ale goes down easily without tasting its high alcohol presence.
Food Pairings: This Triple is a perfect companion for a creamy Risotto.
