About This Wine: D’Antiche Terre began in 1989 with 40 hectares of land in Avellino, and later started producing its own wine. By 1993, with its first 35,000 bottles produced, D’Antiche Terre was receiving a great deal of critical acclaim. Gaetano Ciccarella and his associates are moved by the passion to make wine as it was made in their region 2,000 years ago, when Virgil and Pliny exalted Fiano d’Avellino and Greco di Tufo. It is the pride and the knowledge of that time that guides their work.
