About This Wine:

All fruit is destemmed. The rosé is a combination of direct pneumatic press juice and saignée from red wine production. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. No malo-lactic. Aged 5 months in temp-controlled inox tanks before filtration and early bottling (February) to capture and preserve freshness. It is comprised of 65% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, and 5% Rolle.

What Does It Taste Like?

"The gorgeous salmon hue entices the eye while the tropical fruit nose of pineapple, guava and grapefruit lures you in for a sip. On the palate the rose exudes generous flavor profiles of fresh-picked strawberries, candied watermelon and uncommonly good grapefruits and citrus notes. In my humble opinion, nothing is more appealing on a hot summer day than an enjoyable rose to refresh your palate and quench your thirst. This med-bodied rose with refreshing ripe fruit flavors, and balanced acidity, exemplifies what a good quality rose from Provence should be. This wine is comprised of the classic cépages Grenache and Cinsault, but accented with Rolle (called Vermentio in Italy and other Southern France appellations), which adds citrus aromatics, crisp acidity and a touch of minerality to its red counterparts.
