About This Wine:

The Montecucco region, created in 1998, lies on the southern border of Montalcino, and was created in large part to stem the illicit trade of Sangiovese Grosso grapes into Montalcino for augmenting the production of Brunello di Montalcino.

What Does It Taste Like?

This complex and full-bodied wine has cherry & plum fruit flavors typical of Sangiovese, with a delicious finish of dark chocolate given by the Cabernet Sauvignon.
