Notes from the Winemaker:

The Amber Ridge vineyard has proved to be an amazingly consistent performer over it’s short life span; the first harvest being in 2002. The silkiness of this wine lingers on the palate where it mingles with that famous Russian River pinot fruity quality. The wine is of medium weight and colour but leads you to believe that it is much bigger than it’s clonal parts. Comprised mostly of the115 clone, known for it’s beautiful aromatic nose and light colour, and the 667 clone which contributes black cherries and a hint of spice to the blend, this vintage will prove to be immensely popular with pinotphiles.

Aged for 17 months in 35% New Hungarian Oak. Only 220 cases made.
