About This Wine:

The Crull Family that owns the Terraces and Quarry vineyard has been growing phenomenal quality grapes that go into Beringer's Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Nickel & Nickel's Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, and Duckhorn wines. Their small production hand-crafted wines are absolutely top notch in quality.

What Does It Taste Like?

Deep dark color with aromas of lavender, blueberry and clove complementing a full and long, fruit-filled finish. Aged in French and American oak for 18 months.

Vineyard: Moss Creek Ranch, Napa Valley and Dollar Ranch, Chiles Valley. High elevation valleys to the east of Napa with a cooler and longer growing season. Less than 3 tons per acre
Harvest: October 18 & 20, 2006 (2 Lots)
Brix: 23.6 - 25.3
TA: .46 - .55 g/100ml
pH: 3.53 - 3.63
Yeast: D254
Fermentation: Cold soak 96 hours. Hand punch down, small open top fermentation tanks. MLB (Viniflor aoenos) at 0 Brix
Barrel ageing: 18 Months French Oak (30%) and American Oak (70%) 35% New Oak
Bottling: April 10, 2008
Alc: 14.21%
TA: .57 g/100ml
pH: 3.69
Blend: 100% Petite Sirah
Production: 200 cases
