About This Wine:

Domaine de Triennes is a project in Provence of two of Burgundies greatest winemakers; Aubert de Villaine (of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti) and Jacques Seysses (of Domaine Dujac). Floral notes and aromas. Notes of white flowers orange blossoms and honeysuckle. It has great power and intensity, combined with a beautiful balance between richness, acidity and minerality.

Ferments in temperature-controlled tanks. Some of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation, while the rest is blocked at an earlier stage to retain its freshness. The lots are subsequently blended.

What Does It Taste Like?

Sainte Fleur is explosive on the nose with apricot, honeysuckle and honey aromas. It has great power and intensity, combined with a beautiful balance between richness, acidity and minerality

In another competition, the annual Concours des Vins de Pays, our Sainte-Fleur 2008 claimed the title of best white wine for the Var area. The Viognier is our most frequently awarded wine. The 2008 follows its predecessors proudly, displaying the usual fireworks of aromatics : honeysuckle, apricots, almonds, white fruits, and more. On the palate, one finds the minerality, length and freshness that caracterize the Triennes wines.
