A big red, in flavor and terroir, not tannin. |

This is my first Bonarda.
Everything about this wine is masculine and dark.
On the nose it's spicy, mineral, rock, and black cherry skin. I would be interested to find out about the barrels used. I'm going to guess, older barrels were used.
Taste, I'm going with Tobacco, leather, black cherry... And then something in the realm of stems & barrel... With a long finish. The cherry/fruit appears and reappears in different forms at different times.
This is definitely an Argentinian Bonarda, not a California Charbono.
