About This Wine:
“Bosco di Gica” is the ancient name (1490) of the site of the family’s first vineyard. A dry, flavorful Brut with a pleasant vein of acidity and complex fragrance, it is an excellent aperitif as well as versatile with light food such as grilled fish or vegetable pasta.

"Bosco di Gica" is the ancient name of the location where the family vineyards are grown. The origins of the grape and the production criteria are similar to those of the traitional Prosecco Spumante. The Brut is obviously dryer, even though it maintains the gentle character of the vine. Pleasantly acid and possessing a complex fragrance, it is an excellent aperitif, but also a versatile spumante complementing fish, shellfish and crustaceans. It should be served at 7° - 8°C. Long periods of refrigeration must be avoided, at this alters its qualities.

Ratings & Reviews
91+ Points - Vinous Media:
"Luminous straw-green. Honey, white flowers, crushed rocks and lemon oil all come alive in this nicely chiseled, creamy yet vibrant Prosecco. Showcases gorgeous balance and plenty of early appeal, but also offers plenty of richness and depth. This serious, luscious Prosecco is my early candidate for Brut Prosecco of the year. The name of the wine derives from a very old forest located near the estate. Made from roughly 96% Glera and 4% Chardonnay." -Ian D'Agata

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Disgorged in March 2017, this bottle celebrates the 25th anniversary (1992-2017) of this wine. The NV Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Brut Bosco di Gica is a cheerful and lighthearted wine with a pretty array of cheerful aromas. The bouquet offers delicate and intermingled fragrances of lemon, tangerine skin and white rose. The brut style usually shows a lower volume of aromatic intensity, but this wine gives you plenty to admire nonetheless." - Monica Larner (31st Aug 2017)

Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"This opens with pretty scents of spring blossom and white stone fruit while the lively foaming palate doles out green apple and lemon drop. It's fresh, with bright acidity." - Kerin O’Keefe (12/1/2017)
