Notes from the Winemaker:

Balance is the best word to describe this Rose, neither too red nor too pale, a superb colour with rose-petal glints and a chain of fine white mousse forming a delicious contrast with the pink.

On the nose, you will entranced by the bouquet of red fruit, dominated by wild strawberries and cherries, with that little note of pepper typical of the Pinot Noir. The sensations of the nose continue on to the palate, with an impression of small red fruits (strawberries and raspberries), developing into "pastry" notes and a finish with a touch of candied cherries.

All freshness and delicacy, this is a champagne that will do honour to your apertitifs... and that the ladies will adore!

Ratings & Reviews

92 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous:

"The NV Rosé Brut Grand Cru is another gorgeous Champagne from Paul Bara. Rich, resonant and super-inviting, the Brut Rosé has so much to offer. I especially admire the wine's breadth and expansiveness, both of which give it the versatility to drink beautifully as an aperitif or at the dinner table. The blend is 80% Pinot Noir (including 12% still Pinot) and 20% Chardonnay. Dosage of 8 grams per liter feels a bit on the high side, but this is nevertheless an absolutely joyous Champagne. Disgorged: May 2018." - Antonio Galloni (Nov 2018)

90 Points - Allen Meadows' Burghound:
"Oeil de perdrix color introduces a fresh and mildly fruity nose of strawberry and raspberry scents where additional breadth is present in the form of yeast and citrus nuances. The cool and relatively crisp middle weight flavors possess good if not better depth before culminating in a relatively dry finish that is shaped by moderately firm effervescence. This is certainly very pretty but not particularly deep." - (Jan 15, 2018)

Wine Spectator Magazine:
"Candied berry and cherry flavors are framed by crisp acidity and a lively bead in this fresh and easy-drinking rosé Champagne. Offers a zesty finish of moderate length. Disgorged February 2017. Drink now. 200 cases imported." – AN (Web Only - 2017)
