About This Beer:

What could be warmer than a spicy ginger beer for the holidays? This sassy delight is brewed with five pounds of dried ginger, five pounds of fresh ginger, jalepenos, and plenty of lemon peel. Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing tips its hat to "Winter Warmers" with this latest release. Ginger is a strong ale but light in color with aromas of lemon, honey and ginger. Ginger is the perfect beer to accompany the cold days of winter and your festive holiday feasts.

We teamed up with our friends at Collective Brewing Project to create Minor Miner Grisette, a grisette-style ale aged in oak foeders with orange blossom and calendula flowers, inspired by traditional grisette beers enjoyed by industrial miners after a long day of labor. Though the environment of beer consumption has changed, this easy-to-drink beer still hits the spot when looking for a refreshing beer at the end of the day.

Boont Amber Ale won the Silver Medal at the 2003 Great American Beer Festival, in the American-Style Amber/Red Ale category, has several other medals, as well, and was named the “best beer brewed in Northern California,” by the San Francisco Bay Guardian.

Boont Amber Ale is a medium bodied pale ale with a beautiful copper color, a robust head, and the rich flavor of caramel malt. This very smooth and exceptionally drinkable beer is excellent with steaks, chicken, pasta, and other flavorful meals.

As with all of our products, Boont Amber Ale is never sterile filtered nor heat pasteurized, and should be stored in refrigeration. However, to fully enjoy its rich and complex flavor, it should be served between 40° and 45°F

No more than 30 days after our whiskey barrels are dumped in Kentucky, they are at the brewery being filled with beer. This ensures that every batch gets a rich Rye whiskey finish and notes of toffee, chocolate, oak and vanilla. Because we buy barrels from the cooper to age our whiskey, and then we monitor that maturation process over the years until we bottle our whiskey, we have complete control over the age and type of barrels we use. We think that is a big reason why this beer has come out with such uniquely rich flavor and taste. Cheers!

Color: Very light with a fine white head
Taste: Crisp Wit beer with a sour finish.

A beer to blow your mind and refresh your soul.
Harvest.......The wild idea to use the microflora derived from the Petrus Oak foeders into another beer has never seen before. Through a new technique at Brewery De Brabandere they are able to harvest those wild yeasts and bacteria that live on the inside of the oak foeders .

About This Beer:
Few flavors complement each other as well as those of chocolate and raspberry. Pure raspberries and roasted cacao nibs were added to a silky smooth oak milk stout to create this truly complex and flavorful beer. - 9.5% ABV | 40 IBU

A brew that’s ripe with flavor.
Our Tart Peach Kölsch is a fresh take on one of our very first beers. The juicy aroma and flavor of ripe peach complements the subtle fruitiness from the Kölsch yeast in this bright, refreshing ale. Add a tickle of tartness to round out the senses, and you get a new brew that’s interestingly delightful.

When it came to creating Ripper, we drew inspiration from the coastal surf cultures of SoCal and Oz. Sourcing classic Cascade from the Pacific Northwest and Australian Galaxy hops from…yes…Australia, we made a beer both lovers of frothy peaks and hoppy green buds will be stoked about. At the same time, we stayed true to our San Diego roots by pushing the hop boundaries of this style. While some might think it lingers on an edge far closer to an IPA, with all the dry-hop flavor and aroma, it’s actually right in line with the current-day interpretation of a West Coast pale. Ours just so happens to have an Aussie accent that’s cascading with a juicy amount of grapefruit and passion fruit hoppiness. So veg out or venture out. Either way, rip one open and taste this awesome golden nectar!

About the Beer:
The genetic origin of this hop is 50% Nugget, 25% Zeus, and 25% USDA 19058. Called Nuggetzilla by some, this hop is rich in pineapple, citrus, and pine flavors, though it can often come off as spicy as well. It can be used for bittering, flavor, or aroma.

Denali is BIG. A monster of a plant with gigantic cones, she has a high total oil content to boot. With it’s tropical fruit and bright citrus notes, Denali made one ‘helluva’ IPA for our Single Hops Series.
