90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Already in bottle, the 2012 Coteaux du Languedoc Terrasses du Larzac Les Obriers offers fabulous Cinsault character and shows how interesting this variety can be when done right. Incredibly floral and perfumed, with sweet blackberry, violets, lilacs and exotic spices, this medium-bodied, elegant and silky effort builds on the palate, shows notable freshness and a pure, hard-to-resist feel. I’d drink it over the coming 4-5 years, but it will evolve for longer." - Jeb Dunnuck (Apr 2014)

"Bigger and richer, with more black fruits, ground pepper, forest floor and resinous scrub brush, the 2011 Coteaux du Languedoc Terrasses du Larzac Les Obriers (65% Cinsault, 35% Carignan) is medium-bodied, layered and textured on the palate, with a terrific finish. Drink it over the coming 4-6 years." - Jeb Dunnuck (Apr 2014)

The 2012 Coteaux du Languedoc Terrasses du Larzac La Peira is similar in style, with lively and fresh cassis, black raspberry, graphite, licorice and cedar notes flowing to a medium to full-bodied, profile on the palate. Pure, focused and nicely concentrated, enjoy it over the coming 10-12 years." - JD (4/2014)

Tasting Notes:
Gorgeous pale pink color with soft and shiny reflections. This Crisp and precise 2015 has a lovely mineral freshness with delicate aromas of citrus, red fruits and white flowers. On the palate the terroir reveals a pretty balanced and elegant volume along with a very nice tension bringing length. The bouquet of aromas is persistent leading to a long lasting fruity finish with an undertone salty character.

91-93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Tasted as a representative sample that was blended from several foudres, the 2017 Cotes du Rhone Coudoulet de Beaucastel looks to be another sensational example of this wine. Sourced just outside the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, it's full-bodied yet silky and long, with standout aromas of lavender and crushed stone backed by layers of cherry and berry fruit. Let's hope the prices don't escalate too much given the vintage's low yields." - Joe Czerwinski (Aug 2018)

Rank #84 (2012 vintage) - Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of 2013

The second vintage of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's Provence rose,

90 Points - Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "(made from cinsault, grenache, syrah and rolle): Pale orange. Fresh tangerine, strawberry and white flowers on the fragrant, mineral-accented nose. Silky and precise, offering tangy red fruit flavors that are lifted and sharpened by a white pepper nuance. Finishes clean, nervy and long, with excellent clarity and lingering minerality. This suave wine has the power to work with rich foods and the energy to give pleasure by itself." - Josh Raynolds (Jun 2014)

A tribute to vintage North Coast plantings and field blends from two vineyards, planted in 1918 and 1933.  Zinfandel, Grenache, Petite Sirah and Counoise.  The wine is more old world than new, more structured, and nuanced. Purposefully harvested at low sugars and with stronger natural acids from sites well suited to this approach. A wine of balance and restraint.  Dense yet elegant purple and black fruited tones, violets, bright acids and undercurrents of iron, powdered rocks, wild sage and light dusty tannins. Native fermentation in an open topped fermenter, whole berries.  No pressing of the fruit, only free run juice used.  Natural acids.  Cellared 16 months in 30% newer French Oak.
