92 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous:
"(14% new French oak) Light bright yellow. Pungent, mineral- and spice-tinged citrus and pit fruit aromas show excellent clarity and a sexy floral overtone. Juicy and focused on the palate, offering vibrant Meyer lemon, pear and honeysuckle flavors and a sneaky touch of fennel. Finishes tangy and long, showing excellent clarity and a recurring mineral note." - Josh Raynolds (Jan 2019)

95 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous:
"(5% whole clusters and 30% new French oak) Deep bright-rimmed red. A highly complex, mineral-tinged bouquet evokes candied red fruits, cola, Asian spices, mocha and potpourri. Seamless and sharply delineated on the palate, offering appealingly sweet Chambord, rose pastille and spicecake flavors that deepen on the back half, with no loss of energy. Fine-grained tannins frame a strikingly long, smooth, smoke-accented finish that leaves a juicy raspberry note behind." - Josh Raynolds (Jan 2019)

92 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous:
"(15% new French oak) Lurid red. Spice-accented raspberry and cherry aromas are complicated by hints of cola, candied rose and smoky mineral notes. Sweet and seamless on the palate, offering lively red berry flavors and suggestions of floral pastilles and blood orange that emerge with aeration. Nicely concentrated but vibrant and precise in style, delivering solid closing thrust, while smooth tannins lend shape to the long, spice-accented finish. This wine is composed of 65% Rincon and 35% Rosemary's fruit and, like the Chardonnay, it's extremely impressive for what might be called an entry-level bottling." - Josh Raynolds (Jan 2019)

"I love the spicy complexity to the nose with underbrush, Thai basil and bay leaves, complementing the dark berries. Tightly formulated with firm tannins, driven acidity and a structured finish. Drink now." - (Friday, May 3, 2019)

90 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine (2012 vintage):
"Tangent’s unoaked Sauvignon Blancs are consistently good, and make versatile wines for food pairing. This 2012 vintage really defines their style. The wine is rich and dry in honey, limes, lemons and nectarines, with acidity so tart, it makes the mouth water. The winemaker suggests pairing with oysters, but it will go with almost anything." -S.H. 12/31/13

The Talley Vineyard lies in Arroyo Grande Valley in the southern part of San Luis Obispo County. Our two acre parcel of Pinot Noir is in the West Rincon block and is on a gentle east facing slope, on a fairly light clay loam (probably a mixture of marine and volcanic material). Our block is planted to three different clones, two of which are early maturing, light bearing so called “Dijon” clones. The other is an older, slightly later maturing clone named “Pommard”, after the village in Burgundy where it was originally selected. For me, and many other sommeliers, this is the finest Pinot Noir property in the southern part of the Central Coast of California

La Provençale was inspired by the easygoing lifestyle of the South of France. Classic varietals such as Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignane express the juicy, dark fruit character of plum and blackberry, with hints of raspberry sauce, chocolate, saffron and smoke. The Carignane grapes are from the ancient vines of the Evangelho Vineyard in Contra Costa County, which are grown on their own roots in sandy soil along the Sacramento–San Joaquin Delta. The Grenache also comes from ancient vines, these in San Benito County, where rich raspberry flavors dominate and unfold to dried wild strawberry and a hint of bay leaf. Bright acidity and supple tannins make this wine a chef’s delight—the perfect complement to a wide array of dishes.
