Wine Enthusiast (2018 Vintage):
"A whiff of reduction needs to blow off before candied lemon and apple notes can shine. The palate of this wine offers vivid but tempered juiciness that is the result of ripeness captured at just the right moment. This wine expresses the generosity of 2018 with verve, balance and freshness."

"This is all about finesse, the velvety texture embracing flavors of cherry, raspberry, earth, mineral and spice. The spice notes intensify, with sandalwood and green olive extending on the firmly structured, complex finish. Jam- packed with flavor and personality, this needs time. Best from 2023 through 2045. 775 cases made, 100 cases imported." - BS (Dec 31, 2020)

The nose is very typical of the appellation with a walnut shell and oil bouquet. A little rustic; a more profound nose than all of the previous wines. Less citric and more classy; very buttery on the palate with creamed corn, toasted almond and some brown sugar. Round, with back acids. Quite acidic on the finish, quite meaty as well, with walnut oil at the end.

97 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"Though somewhat brooding, this smoky, licorice-tinged red features black cherry, plum, iron and spice flavors. Solidly built and expanding on the long, spicy aftertaste. Impeccably balanced, but needs to stretch out a little. Best from 2023 through 2045." - BS (May 31, 2020)

90 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"Similarly hued, the 2017 Hautes Côtes De Nuits Les Dames Huguettes is a more tight, lengthy, structured wine that has beautiful notes of sappy spring flowers, tart black cherries, forest floor, violets, and damp earth. Medium-bodied, balanced, and seamless on the palate, this terrific 2017 has the sweet, perfumed fruit of the vintage paired with remarkable purity, ripe tannins, and fabulous balance. Don’t let the humble Bourgogne appellation fool you, this is a gorgeous wine that certainly plays with plenty of Village level wines. It will drink well for over a decade." - Jeb Dunnuck (3/25/2020)

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2015 Morgon Corcelette spends 12 months in barrel. It has a joyful, animated bouquet with dark cherries, crushed strawberry and light violet aromas that blossom in the glass. The palate is fleshy and supple in the mouth, the acidity nicely judged and the oak lifting the finish without occluding the terroir. This is a well crafted Morgon that should age well over the next five to seven years." - Neal Martin (31st Aug 2017)
