Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"Stéphane Defraine's wine is rich with dark black fruits. The tannins with spice and a firm core give this wine density. It is already powerful and concentrated. It will be ready from 2018." – Roger Voss (9/1/2017)

90 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"The 2015 Font du Jeu Cotes de Castillon offers ample dark fruits, plums, and leafy herbs notes to go with a frontend-loaded, textured profile that’s ready to go. A blend of 70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in used barrels, it’s a terrific value and will offer plenty of pleasure over the coming 5-7 years." - Jeb Dunnuck (March 27th 2019)

91 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"This rich wine is already smoothly textured yet still has fine tannins that give aging potential. With its black fruit and acidity, it's ripe, smoky and likely to be very drinkable from 2020." - Roger Voss (December 2017)

92 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"The 2016 Château de Fonbel from the team at Ausone is a brilliant Saint-Emilion in 2016. Tons of black raspberry and cassis fruits, notes of spice, and dried flowers, medium body, and a balanced, elegant texture all make for beautiful wine. It has the purity of elegance of the vintage front and center, and while it’s already hard to resist, it’s got 15 years of prime drinking ahead of it." - Jeb Dunnuck (2/28/2019)

90 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous:
"The 2014 Haut-Segottes is one of the under-the-radar jewels of the year. Silky and nuanced in the glass, but with striking depth, the 2014 exudes class. Dark red cherry, plum, spice and new leather are all nicely pushed forward. The tannins are a bit firmer than I recall seeing from barrel. I tasted the 2014 from a half-bottle sample, which is about the worst and least flattering way for an estate to show a wine. The blend is 60 % Merlot and 40 % Cabernet Franc. Hubert de Boüard is the consulting winemaker." - Antonio Galloni (Feb 2017)

93 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous Media:
"A dark, imposing wine, the 2012 Roc des Cambes is distinctly dark and brooding. Black cherries, smoke, licorice, tar and dark spices fleshed [?]. Vertical in style and quite structured, the 2012 could use another few years in bottle to fully come together, which will also help the chewy tannins to integrate a bit more fully. Roc des Cambes is 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec that spend 18 months in 100% new French oak." - Antonio Galloni (Jan 2016)

"This seven-acre Petit family estate is dominated by Merlot that gives the wine its rich generous character. In this vintage it was balanced by crisp acidity and a lively aftertaste. The tannins promise further aging. Drink from 2020." - Roger Voss (2/1/2017)

"Beautiful sliced pear, apple and stone aromas and flavors. Full body, bright and fresh." - (April 30, 2016)

90-93 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"Enticing, with a tangerine and white peach core, offset by a long, racy finish of verbena and jasmine notes. There's underlying richness here that should develop with a bit more time." – JM (Web Only - 2016)
