92 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2006 Special Club Grand Cru Brut is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from Aÿ. The wine has a deep, fine and mineral bouquet of ripe and concentrated fruits (pineapples and citrus) intermixed with chalky notes. Pure, fresh and intense on the palate, this is a full-bodied, fresh and elegant Champagne with remarkable finesse, mineral grip and power. The finish is long and complex, but the wine is still young. Disgorged in November 2017 with eight grams per liter of dosage. Tasted in April 2018." - Stephan Reinhardt (Aug 2018)

"(roughly 75% pinot noir and pinot meunier, with 25% chardonnay; Lot 14009809): Light yellow-gold. Deeply pitched aromas of peach nectar, tangerine and honey, with a toasty topnote. Offers plump orchard fruit and floral flavors and a smooth texture, with a touch of honey adding depth. Finishes with good sappy persistence and lingering floral and candied fig notes. Not overtly sweet. " - Josh Raynolds (Dec 2013)

92 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Hebrart’s NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Disg. 3/2013 showcases fruit from vintage 2009 with 20% of its volume split between 2008 and 2007. Iris and peony, almond and hazelnut dominate the nose, with intimations arising of the oyster liquor and soy that go on to lend mouthwateringly saline savor as well as the apple and winter pear that serve up luscious fruit on a buoyant and polished palate. Given my description thus far, it won’t surprise you to learn that this cuvee’s finish is superbly long and savory. I imagine that it will be worth following for at least several years. Not only does this bottling represent exceptional value by standards of its appellation, it is remarkable for costing so little more than Hebrart's corresponding (far from) “basic” Brut. (By my convention governing suggested retail price quotations, the difference simply gets rounded off!)" - (29th Nov 2013)

92 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous:
"The NV Rosé Brut Grand Cru is another gorgeous Champagne from Paul Bara. Rich, resonant and super-inviting, the Brut Rosé has so much to offer. I especially admire the wine's breadth and expansiveness, both of which give it the versatility to drink beautifully as an aperitif or at the dinner table. The blend is 80% Pinot Noir (including 12% still Pinot) and 20% Chardonnay. Dosage of 8 grams per liter feels a bit on the high side, but this is nevertheless an absolutely joyous Champagne. Disgorged: May 2018." - Antonio Galloni (Nov 2018)

95 Points - Vinous:

"The NV Extra-Brut Rosé MV 13 Vinothèque is even more impressive today than it was last year. Readers who enjoy Rosé with a bit of age will flip out over the MV 13. The aromatics alone are captivating. Bright red berry fruit, blood orange, mint and rose petal are all beautifully lifted in a Rosé that is incredibly alluring form the very first taste. The MV is pure seduction in a glass. Don't miss it. Disgorged: September, 2019. " - Antonio Galloni (Nov 2020)

93 Points - Vinous:
"The 2013 Brut Rosé Special Club is ethereal and perhaps just a touch elusive, but that only adds to its considerable appeal. Bright red berry fruit, crushed rose petal and white pepper add aromatic brightness. The Special Club Rosé perfectly embodies the essence of the house style. Sweet floral overtones resonate on the long, silky finish. This is such a pretty wine. " - Antonio Galloni (Nov 2020)

93 Points - James Suckling:
"Chardonnay dominates pinot noir here 60-40, the pinkish salmon colour is arrived at with a dash of red pinot noir from Les Orizeaux, it smells of sour cherries, almost flinty stony minerals and a gently spiced biscuity edge. The palate has a smooth and creamy texture, oozes charm and plays off generosity with restraint to great effect. Really fresh, really fine, drink now." - (4 Oct, 2017 )

Notes from the Winemaker:
Wines from Les Couarres are marked by a sapid, textured roundness, a broad character, followed by a lift of freshness and a backbone of acidity, framing the wine. The 2015 has a distinctive stoniness in the finish, a function of the tuffeau subsoil found at under a meter below the surface. The next releases will be tighter and more reductive from the clay influence on the wine. This is the last vintage of this wine to be made from this site alone.

94 Points - James Suckling (2012 Vintage):
"An impression of crystalline lemon and lime citrus in a very fine, minerally and chalky stance, this has an edge of pastry, too, as well as some dried flowery elements and a light spiciness on the nose. The palate has an elegant, balanced and crystalline edge to the acidity. Super fine with a gentle warmth to the finish. Drink now." - Jams Suckling (October 2012)
