94 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2015 Crozes Hermitage le Clos is the high-end Crozes bottling from Delas Frères, aged 14-16 months in French oak. Give it some time in the glass to open up if you try one soon, as it's tight and closed at first, gradually developing floral notes and showing more black cherry and blackberry fruit. In the mouth, it's velvety and concentrated, gradually fading on the finish into hints of licorice and black pepper. This medium to full-bodied 100% Syrah drinks well now (with air) but should evolve well for at least another decade." - Joe Czerwinski (29th Dec 2017)

94 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"The 2016 Saint Joseph François De Tournon comes from more schist and gneiss soils and spent 10-14 months in mostly used barrels, with a small part in tank to preserve more freshness. It's another ruby/purple-colored effort from this estate and gives up lots of blackberry and blueberry fruits intermixed with earthy minerality, ground pepper, and hints of damp earth. Rich, layered, and textured, it will be better in a year or two and keep for 8-10, if not longer." (Dec 2018)

95 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"This is loaded with well-defined loganberry, blackberry and boysenberry pâte de fruit flavors, flecked with anise and black tea notes and carried by a fine iron streak that lingers wonderfully. A wine of cut, purity and precision. Best from 2020 through 2035. 2,744 cases made." - JM (Nov 2018)

96 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"The 2016 Hermitage Domaine Des Tourettes Blanc is a total blockbuster and almost matches what was achieved in 2015! Coming from the bottom part of the Les Bessards lieu-dit and from the Les Grandes Vignes lieu-dit at the highest point on the hill, it’s 100% Marsanne brought up all in 30% new barrel. Killer notes of apple blossom, buttered citrus, and orange blossom all soar from the glass of this rich, powerful Hermitage Blanc that has a red wine-like structure, a huge mid-palate, and a great finish. It shows the fresher style preferred by this estate, has terrific purity, and will keep for 2+ decades." (1/24/2018)

92 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous Media:
"(one-third new oak) Lurid ruby. Powerful aromas of dark berry liqueur, pungent flowers and smoky minerals pick up a hint of incense with aeration. Silky and expansive on the palate, offering ripe, spice-tinged blackberry and cherry flavors and a touch of spicecake. Closes on a sweet violet pastille note, featuring impressive persistence, supple tannins and an echo of peppery spices." - Josh Raynolds (Apr 2018)

93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Even better than the Champelrose is the 2013 Cornas Sabarotte, which comes from the estate’s 1.5 hectare in the la Sabarotte lieu-dit, which lies just across the valley (and a little to the south) of the Reynard lieu-dit. This is prime terroir composed of pure granite soils. Seeing a long four-week maceration, it sees malolactic in barrel and spends 16 months in new French oak barrels (which is rare in Cornas). Despite the aging, you wouldn't know it by tasting the wine as it offers sensational notes of black and blue fruits, caramelized meats, crushed rock and pepper, with almost no noticeable oak. Full-bodied, forward, beautifully textured and layered, it’s a huge success in the vintage and is a gorgeous wine that savvy readers should snatch up. It will have 15 or more years of overall longevity." - Jeb Dunnuck (Dec 2015)

94 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine #64 Top 100 of 2017:

"A deep ruby-black with purple hints. Blackcurrant, dark cherries and blackberries, with spices, licorice and cocoa. A very rich mouthfeel with flavors of black fruit, jam, vanilla, spice and mineral notes. Excellent with game, beef, lamb, barbecue foods, roasted pork and a variety of other hearty dishes."

93 Points - Robert Parker:
"The 2013 Cornas la Louvee is gorgeous and has considerable elegance and purity in its cassis, liquid blackberry, licorice and crushed rock-laced bouquet. This gives way to a medium to full-bodied, pure, perfectly balanced Cornas that has plenty of tannin, yet also plenty of fruit and mid-palate depth. More mineral driven than the les Ruchets, enjoy this complete, textured and lengthy 2013 anytime over the coming 15 years."

93 Points - Wine Spectator:
Offers some lovely ripeness, with blueberry compote, plum sauce and melted licorice notes gliding together seamlessly, offset deftly by a hint of chalk that lengthens the finish. A pleasant whiff of tobacco lurks in the background. A wonderful effort for the vintage. Best from 2018 through 2024. 350 cases made.

96 Points - Wine Spectator:
"This is intense, with layers of dark plum, fig and blackberry confiture flavors rolling through, carried by smoldering charcoal and bay leaf notes. Grippy throughout, but the integration is there, while ganache, licorice root and sweet tapenade details fill in on the finish. Impressive. Best from 2020 through 2040. 75 cases made." –JM

97 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"The finest vintage to date, better even than the stellar 2010, the 2015 Crozes-Hermitage Domaine De Thalabert is a gorgeous, deep, layered, and incredibly satisfying Crozes. Blackcurrants, olive tapenade, truffles and earthy notes all emerge from this full-bodied, gorgeously textured and seamless 2015. With fine tannin and no hard edge, it can be drunk today or cellaring for 15-20 years." (1/2018)

92-94 Points - Antonio Galloni:
"(made from vines that range from 40 to 60 years old; raised for a year in oak barrels, 20 percent of them new) Youthful violet. Powerful mineral- and spice-accented blue fruit liqueur and violet aromas are complemented by suggestions of licorice and white pepper. Concentrated and expansive on the palate, offering intense blueberry, cherry and spicecake flavors and an exotic Indian spice quality that builds on the back half. Shows excellent clarity and lift on the finish, which is framed by velvety, harmonious tannins that fold smoothly into the juicy dark fruit." (4/2017)
