97 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"This offers a jaw-dropping display of white peach, creamed Jonagold apple, Cavaillon melon and persimmon fruit flavors intertwined with citronella, chamomile, singed macadamia nut and salted butter notes. Remarkably creamy in feel and seriously long, delivering echoes of citrus oil and smoke. Hard to resist now, but this isn't going anywhere for a while. Best from 2017 through 2032. 45 cases imported." - JM (Nov 15, 2016)

92-94 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous:
"Dark purple. Aromas of black and blue fruit preserves, sandalwood, olive and pungent flowers carry a bright, peppery overtone. Shows excellent focus and lift to the ripe black raspberry, boysenberry and violet pastille flavors, which are given spine by a core of juicy acidity. Closes smooth, subtly sweet and very long, with subtle, fine-grained tannins coming in late." - Josh Raynolds (Jun 2018)

95 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"This is loaded with well-defined loganberry, blackberry and boysenberry pâte de fruit flavors, flecked with anise and black tea notes and carried by a fine iron streak that lingers wonderfully. A wine of cut, purity and precision. Best from 2020 through 2035. 2,744 cases made." - JM (Nov 2018)

96 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"The 2016 Hermitage Domaine Des Tourettes Blanc is a total blockbuster and almost matches what was achieved in 2015! Coming from the bottom part of the Les Bessards lieu-dit and from the Les Grandes Vignes lieu-dit at the highest point on the hill, it’s 100% Marsanne brought up all in 30% new barrel. Killer notes of apple blossom, buttered citrus, and orange blossom all soar from the glass of this rich, powerful Hermitage Blanc that has a red wine-like structure, a huge mid-palate, and a great finish. It shows the fresher style preferred by this estate, has terrific purity, and will keep for 2+ decades." (1/24/2018)

100 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2010 Hermitage Ex Voto continues to top out on my scale. This extraordinary Hermitage has more minerality and delineation than the 2009, as well as overflowing aromas and flavors of creme de cassis, jammy blackberries, violets, graphite and wood smoke. Massively concentrated, full-bodied, decadent, layered and sexy, it needs short-term cellaring but should be just about immortal in the cellar." - Jeb Dunnuck (Sept 2015

95-96 Points - James Suckling:
"Briar, red cherries and darker plums, dark chocolate, pepper and spices. This has density and impressive, fleshy weight through the mid-palate. The tannins are web-like with a superb sense of detail. Light and shade. Lots on offer, even at this young stage. Will be great, so don’t miss this. Barrel sample." - (9 Jul, 2018)

94 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous Media:
"Bright violet. Powerful black and blue fruit preserve, spicecake and incense aromas are lifted and sharpened by a strong, smoky mineral nuance. Stains the palate with concentrated, smoke-tinged boysenberry, cherry liqueur and five-spice flavors that become more energetic with air. Shows suave, seamless texture and finishes extremely long and sappy; chewy tannins build slowly and frame the intense dark fruit." - Josh Raynolds (Apr 2018)

95 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous Media:
"Opaque purple. Powerful, highly complex aromas of red/blue fruit preserves, licorice, olive paste and potpourri carry a sexy floral overtone. Coats the palate with intense black and blue fruit and spicecake flavors; a sappy violet pastille nuance gains strength with air and lends an exotic touch. Velvety, even tannins shape an impressively long, chewy, mineral-accented finish that shows outstanding power and spicy thrust. - Josh Raynolds (Apr 2018)

We are also announcing the inaugural release of our 2007 Le Cheval Fou
Hermitage Blanc. This wine is produced from 100% Marsanne grapes
harvested on September 19, 2007. We are astounded at the quality of
this wine and expect the critics’ highest approval. The banana taffy
qualities (tarte aux bananes per our French counterparts) are
accentuated by striking notes of nectarine, marmalade and honeysuckle,
with underlying tones of crushed rocks, quince fruit and subtle citrus
flavors. Only 200 cases of this wine were produced.
