90 Points & "Best Buy" - Wine Enthusiast:
"Inviting black-cherry and plum flavors are nuanced by layers of bramble, garrigue and forest floor in this impeccably balanced wine. Black-fruit characteristics are ripe and pristine, finishing on fine-grained tannins and a peppering of sweet anise. It's a fantastic value to enjoy now through 2021." - Anna Lee C. Iijima (3/1/2019)

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Barrel-fermented and aged nine months in old oak, the 2016 Cotes du Rhone Le Poste is tight, linear in structure and almost Burgundian in style. It's 100% Clairette grown in the Le Poste vineyard and features a long, briny lime-and-pineapple finish. It can be drunk now or aged up to 10 years." - Joe Czerwinski (31st Oct 2017)

91 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (2016 Vintage):
"A perennial overachiever, the 2016 Cotes du Rhone les Deux Albions continues that run. Garrigue notes accent blueberry fruit in this full-bodied, plush wine. Loaded with hints of cherries and stone fruit, it's a cornucopia of ripe fruit waiting to be slurped down, velvety and long on the finish." - Joe Czerwinski (31st Aug 2018)

96-99 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"My favorite of the single vineyard cuvées in 2017 is the Gigondas Hominis Fides, which comes from a vineyard just across the street from Le Claux. It has a killer nose of exotic flowers, freshly crushed rocks, new saddle leather, flowers, spice, and violets. Possessing full-bodied richness, an incredibly sexy, seamless, yet powerful style, and an awesome finish, it’s unquestionably one of the wines of the vintage." - Jeb Dunnuck (9/26/2018)

About This Wine:
The dry, hot summer in the Vallée du Paradis in the Corbières region, combined with careful grape selection, have resulted in a powerful wine with structure and complexity.
Rich and concentrated with blueberry and strawberry aromas, spices and black pepper. A good balance and a long, smooth finish.
Cote 125 takes its name from the average height (in meters) of the vineyard of the valley. Very low yields of Syrah, Grenache and old vines Carignan make up the cuvée.

91 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2014 Costières de Nîmes Nostre Païs is another winner. Made from 52% Grenache Blanc, 22% Roussanne, 17% Viognier and the balance Clairette and Bourboulenc, it exhibits outstanding notes of citrus blossom, white flowers, licorice and green apple. Medium-bodied, fresh, pretty and focused, it should be better in the next four to six months (probably by the time you read this) and drink well for 1-2 years." - Jeb Dunnuck (3rd Mar 2016)

97 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"This offers a range of sage, savory and bay leaf aromas followed by crushed black cherry, bitter plum and red currant fruit, all supported by racy, mouthwatering chalky cut. Dense, but fresh and well-defined throughout. Long finish." - JM (Aug 2018)

"More concentrated and tannic than the 2016, the 2017 Gigondas shows outstanding potential. Marked by hints of charred wood and mocha, it's nevertheless rich, ripe and fruity, with a long finish." - Joe Czerwinski (31st Aug 2018)

94-96 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"Notes of camphor, dried soil, crushed rocks, and loads of red and black fruits define the 2017 Gigondas Le Claux, which is 100% Grenache from a site just down the road from the estate. I always find a certain Burgundian character in this cuvée and it’s certainly present in the 2017. With medium to full body, a beautiful elegance and purity, and fine tannins, give bottles a few years and enjoy over the following decade or more." - Jeb Dunnuck (9/26/2018)

92 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"I was blown away by the 2015 Côtes du Rhône Yves Cheron les Dentelles. Made from 65% Grenache and 35% Syrah aged all in cement, it’s a big, rich, full-bodied beauty that’s loaded with notions of kirsch, blackberries, toasted spices and white pepper. Deep, rich, concentrated and impeccably balanced, it’s the real deal." - Jeb Dunnuck (Dec 2016)
