97 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"This delivers a lush, enticing blast of cassis and raspberry and boysenberry preserve flavors, carried by a silky structure that lets the fruit play out at length, giving adequate time for black tea, singed apple wood, dried anise and fruitcake notes to fill in throughout. Dreamy. Grenache. Best from 2020 through 2040. 600 cases made." –JM (February 2018)

94 Points & "Highly Recommended" - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"Intense, with fig, blackberry and plum compote flavors rolling over one another, while worn leather, Turkish coffee and well-roasted mesquite notes form a ring around them. Overall this is rich and dense, yet there's definition throughout. Only needs time to knit fully before delivering its peak experience. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Best from 2020 through 2035. 3,000 cases made." – JM (Feb 28, 2018)

"Rather Burgundian in feel, with alluring cherry sauce, plum compote and raspberry coulis flavors, backed by a twinge of licorice. A violet hint lingers at the end, giving this additional grace and length. Drink now through 2025. 224 cases imported." – JM (Nov 15, 2015)

95-97 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
“A tremendous effort, might Beaucastel's 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape outshine even the 2016? I tasted a preliminary blend that Marc Perrin said represented 80% of the wine, and it showed ridiculous floral and fresh aromas of licorice, lavender and spice, all backed by tremendous fruit that went beyond black and red and into hints of exotic stone fruit. The final blend will likely contain more than 10% Counoise, the highest proportion ever utilized at the estate. It's rich and concentrated yet silky and lithe, with a fantastically long, elegant finish." – Joe Czerwinski (Aug 2018)

96 Points - James Suckling:
"A wine with playful, attractive character. An array of red, blue and purple fruits. Gently spicy, chalky and fragrant, it has a very supple, fleshy and layered palate with a web of fine, smooth and supple tannins. Extremely elegant and composed. A long draw on the finish. Great depth and drive. This will live super long. Try after 2020." - (August 14, 2017)

93 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"Ambitious, with a hefty dose of dark cocoa and anise-infused toast over the core of macerated plum, boysenberry and dark cherry fruit. Has ample depth, revealing a polished feel on the finish, where violet and mineral hints lurk. Let this unwind in the cellar. Best from 2018 through 2025. 20 cases imported." - JM (Sep 30, 2016)

93-96 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The Mourvèdre-dominated 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape Tintot sports an inky color as well as serious, full-bodied, decadent notes of black and blue fruits, roasted herbs, melted licorice and cured meats. It’s certainly not for those craving lightweight aromas and flavors, has sensational mid-palate depth and masses of sweet tannin, all suggesting it will be very long lived. As to the Côtes du Rhône Villages release from this estate, it’s always a smoking value that has real character." - Jeb Dunnuck (28th Oct 2016)
