98 Points - Decanter:
"After sitting out the 2014 vintage, Andrea Costanti calls 2015 a beautiful year and one of the best in the history of Brunello. He deemed it exceptional enough to craft a Riserva (to be released in 2021) yet his classic Brunello hasn't suffered for it. In fact, it's one of the greatest successes of the vintage. Gorgeous, seductive aromas are already expressive but still youthful. Cherry and plum are enveloped by exotic spice and a faint smokiness. The palate is plush and velvety with layers of powdery tannins that build, and tangy acid that cleanses the palate. Hedonistic but brilliantly balanced, it is hard to resist now but the best is definitely yet to come."

98 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"Fragrant and all about finesse, this gorgeous wine opens with enticing aromas of blue flower, forest floor, wild berry and a whiff of eucalyptus. It's linear and elegant, delivering succulent red cherry, pomegranate, star anise and tobacco alongside polished tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it impeccably balanced. Drink 2022-2030."

91 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The estate’s 2008 Madre is 50% Sangiovese and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is one of the better wines of this challenging year. The Sangiovese and Cabernet come together nicely in this harmonious, expressive red. Layers of dark fruit, menthol, spices and new leather flow to the fresh, vibrant finish. The 2008 is a somewhat compact Madre, but all of the elements are very well integrated. Hints of sweet oak linger on the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018." -Antonio Galloni (May 2011)

#73 Top Italian Wine of 2017!! 96 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The Casanova di Neri 2012 Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova is a beautiful wine that recalls many of the stunning characteristics found in its high-scoring predecessor. I gave a perfect 100 points to the 2010 edition of this same wine. This expression, made two years later, continues in that tradition of excellence. The quality of fruit is profound and intense. The bouquet offers black cherry, spice, leather, balsam herb, cola and licorice. The complexity is absolutely impressive. The mouthfeel, however, is slightly thinner. The classic 2010 vintage is remembered for its twofold punch of elegance and power. Alternatively, the 2012 vintage shows aromatic intensity and less persistence on the finish, generally speaking. Having said that, this remains one Bellissimo Brunello." - Monica Larner (Feb 2017)

96 Points & #12 Top 25 Brunello di Montalcino 2012 - James Suckling:
"Lots of spice, balsamic and ripe-fruit character to this one. Walnut undertones. Full to medium body, a compressed structure of ripe tannins and packed-in fruit. Vibrant finish. Best in 2019." - (Tuesday, May 2, 2017)

96 Points Wine Spectator (Highly Recommended):
"Features terrific fruit, with forthcoming aromas and flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum, accented by licorice, leather and tobacco details that add depth. Well-structured, but stays balanced and precise, adding mineral and woodsy elements on the finish. Excellent length. Best from 2019 through 2035. 3,750 cases made." – BS (Jun 30, 2015)

93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:

"Representing a special selection of fruit, the 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Prime Donne is a dark and well-extracted wine with dark tones of cherry and blackberry backed by leather, tobacco and tar. The fruit on display is sweet and plump and you definitely get a sense of the wine's youth and its potential to evolve. Donatella Cinelli Colombini has done a very good job of matching her bolder winemaking style to the high quality of fruit on display here. Plush endnotes of sweet spice, cinnamon and toasted vanilla give the wine an international twist. I found Prime Donne to be slightly less expressive than the base Brunello from the same vintage. The wine needs a little longer to open. " - Monica Larner (Feb 2015)

"Aromas of ripe blackskinned fruit, new leather, menthol and a whisper of blue flower unfold on this stunning, elegantly structured wine. The vibrant palate doles out ripe black cherry, cinnamon and star anise framed in firm, fine-grained tannins. Hold for even more complexity. Absolutely superb. Drink 2022–2035."--K.O. (Nov 2016)

96 Points - International Wine Report:
"The 2010 Riserva is an absolutely striking effort from Lisini, which impresses with its remarkable purity and elegant style. This gorgeous Brunello opens with alluring aromas of fresh red fruits, dried floral , and spices adding in a subtle hint of leather which begins to emerge with air. A beautifully made wine with remarkable overall balance, structure and precision. It continues to impress with its lovely refined, silky texture all the way through the long, pretty finish. The Riserva will require some additional time to fully develop, as this is ultimately an age worthy wine, which should continue to evolve gracefully over the next decade ant beyond. (Best 2020-2034)" - J.D. (Sep 2016)
