95 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"Starting with the 2018 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley, which comes from multiple sites and was brought up in 27% new French oak, it has a vivid ruby hue to go with classic Russian River notes of mulled cherry and raspberry fruits, cola, spice box, and dried herbs. Medium-bodied, round, and beautifully textured, it's a totally charming, balanced, elegant Pinot Noir that punches way above its weight." - Jeb Dunnuck (5/21/2020)

89 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2017 Chablis is also showing very well, unwinding in the glass to reveal aromas of pear, smoke, dried white flowers and fresh pastry. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with good depth and concentration, concluding with a nicely defined finish." - William Kelley (30th Aug 2019)

89+ Points - Vinous:
"(made from vineyards in Vergisson and Solutré): Bright gold-tinged yellow. Broader and riper on the nose than the 2016 Mâcon-Villages and Saint-Véran bottlings, with an element of toasty oak complementing aromas of yellow peach, mirabelle, acacia flower and menthol. Silky, plush and broad but not heavy, with stone fruit and spice flavors still a bit youthfully aggressive and in need of another year in bottle to settle down. There's a sweetness here that's not shown by the other '16s from this producer, but it's nicely leavened by strong salty minerality. Finishes dry and persistent, with salty and spicy notes. I would not be surprised if this wine merited 90 points by next summer. " Stephen Tanzer - (Nov 2017)

92 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The pure Monastrell 2017 La Tremenda always represents great value and showcases the behavior of the grape in the Mediterranean climate and soil from Alicante. The grapes from 25-year-old vines fermented in small stainless steel vats, and the wine matured in French oak barrels for six months. There are notes of fresh fruit, rosemary and thyme, with clean aromas, open and expressive. The palate is juicy and round, and this is an entry-level red that represents the higher volume in the winery. This wine reflects the changes over the last seven or eight years: they do three tries of the harvest, and the first bunches tend to go to this wine. The well-seasoned barrels also go to this wine, and the vinification is much softer. The result is fruit-driven, with just a spicy twist. 2017 seems a lot cooler in the Mediterranean part of Spain than in most of the inland regions like Rioja, Ribera del Duero and so on. This is a bargain Monastrell. 70,000 bottles. It was bottled in December 2018." - Luis Gutiérrez (30th Apr 2019)

"A juicy and delicious second wine from Clos Apalta. Beautiful, ripe and delicious with dark berries and mushrooms. Full-bodied and very balanced with complex walnut, spice and berry character. Dark chocolate and hazelnuts at the finish. Drinkable now, but better in 2022. (Feb 2019)

99 Points - James Suckling:
"A great wine with superb concentration and richness. yet it's ever so agile and polished. Spices, blueberries, cinnamon and dried flowers. Full body and polished and full tannins. Great length. The refinement to the tannins is amazing. Compacted. Essence-like. Needs five or six years to open. Try in 2025." (Feb 2018)

93 Points - Vinous:
"The 2008 Blanc de Blancs d'Aÿ, in the magnum late-release, is an absolutely gorgeous wine that brings together the natural richness of Aÿ with plenty of vintage 2008 vibrancy. Dried pear, crushed flowers, mint and spice infuse the 2008 with striking layers of nuance. Aÿ is, of course, best known for Pinot, but in a few choice spots Chardonnay shines, as it does here. Chiquet's Blanc de Blancs d'Aÿ is once again one of the most singular wines in all of Champagne. Dosage is 8 grams per liter. Disgorged: March, 2018." Antonio Galloni - (Dec 2019)

"Barrel Sample. This almost dry wine is full of botrytized fruit tones. Well balanced, it is likely to turn into a rich, dense wine as it matures, with ample acidity that shines on the finish. Roger Voss" - (4/1/2017)

Vinous:
"The 2011 Duluc has a more forward bouquet than the 2012 with blackberry and boysenberry aromas, more red fruit emerging with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly drier and more angular tannins than the 2012. It is a bit rougher around the edges, although there is sufficient freshness on the finish. Drink this now and then over the next two or three years. Tasted at the property. " Neal Martin - (Mar 2020)
