100 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"This is a magnificent, opulent wine, with rich tannins and equally rich black fruits. While it has plenty of ripeness that gives it a generous character, it never wavers in its firm structure. It will have an immensely long, impressive life. Drink from 2030." - Roger Voss (12/1/2019)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 96 Points:
"There are 6,500 cases of the superb 2006 Dominus (91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot). Its dark plum/purple color is accompanied by aromas and flavors of truffles, forest floor, black cherries, black currants, and Asian spices. One of the finest wines of the vintage, it is complete, full-bodied, and seamlessly built with beautiful ripe tannins, low acidity, and a luscious, layered mouthfeel. The aromatics are even more evolved and complex than the 2005's. The 2006 should drink well for 20-25 years." - Robert Parker (12/2008)

89 Points - Vinous:
"(roughly 75% pinot noir and pinot meunier, with 25% chardonnay; Lot 14009809): Light yellow-gold. Deeply pitched aromas of peach nectar, tangerine and honey, with a toasty topnote. Offers plump orchard fruit and floral flavors and a smooth texture, with a touch of honey adding depth. Finishes with good sappy persistence and lingering floral and candied fig notes. Not overtly sweet. " - Josh Raynolds (Dec 2013)

97 Points - James Suckling:
"An aromatic and complex red with currant, white-chocolate and rose-petal character. Full-bodied, tight and polished. Fine and long. Beautiful now but will improve in time."

97 Points - Vinous:
"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Rubicon emerges from the back part of the property, which lies on the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains. Here the wines are dense, powerful and structured. That is exactly what comes through in the 2013. Layers of dark fruit built into a crescendo of aromas, flavors and textures laced with mocha, espresso, gravel and dark spice overtones. The new oak that was so prominent at the outset has begun to integrate and in so doing is allowing the fruit to come through to a greater degree than in the past. This is a tremendous showing for the 2013 Rubicon." (AG) (12/2016)

97 Points - Decanter:
"Starting to show its full character at seven years old, this is definitely in sight of peak drinking, although going nowhere for another couple of decades. Sit back and enjoy the layers of blueberry and cassis primary fruits, now softening into campfire, leather and black truffle edging. This is so good, with a still muscular structure that is turning into a slow stretch of supple tannins. A signature Napa Cabernet. 75% new oak. Drinking Window 2020 - 2040."

18/20 Points - Jancis Robinson:
"Very fresh nose -- terribly tempting to say it smells like young Ch Margaux! Aromatic and complex. Bone dry and appetising. Very racy. Extremely classy and dusty plus bordeaux plus beauty. Minerals aplenty and very fine tannins. More energy than the 2011 but with very similar tannins to the 2011." (2/2015)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 94 Points:
"While it is eclipsed by the brilliance of the 2005, the 2006 Monte Bello (68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc) is a very strong effort. Its dense purple color is followed by copious aromas of creme de cassis, licorice, spice box, and a touch of oak. Well-balanced, dense, pure, layered, and rich, its big, rich style is similar to the 2003. This cuvee should keep for 25-30 years in a cool cellar." -Robert Parker, Feb. '10

98 Points - Vinous Media:
"The 2012 Cristal is another absolutely stellar wine this flight of recent releases. Rich, vinous and beautifully textured, the 2012 has been nothing short of magnificent on the three occasions I have tasted it so far. In the glass, the 2012 is radiant and luscious, yet it possesses remarkable transparency and striking aromatic depth. Light tropical notes develop in the glass, giving the 2012 a real feeling of exotic beauty. The 2012 is the first vintage of Cristal done with 100% organically-farmed fruit, an approach introduced gradually starting with the 2007 that has profoundly changes Cristal, especially in its aromatic breadth. Two thousand twelve is the vintage where endless trials and experiments in farming and winemaking are fully realized. The 2012 is just stunning. It’s as simple as that. Dosage is just over 7 grams per liter, the lowest it has even been for Cristal." - Antonio Galloni (Dec 2019)

Exactly 200 years ago, Madame Clicquot innovated and completely re-created the rosé champagne of the time. She had an audacious new vision in which color, taste, and aroma were vital to the quality. So she broke with accepted norms, and re-created the process of making rosé champagne.

Madame Clicquot was very fond of red-wine grape parcels from the Bouzy region of Champagne, and she elaborated her own red wine from the area. Inspiration struck, and in 1818 she decided to blend this with her still white wines. The result was a stronger rosé champagne, with definite character. Her talent in re-creation gave us the first known blended rosé champagne: Veuve Clicquot Rosé!

Madame Clicquot’s vision for her blended rosé champagne was a wine with character – in taste, aroma, and color. To achieve it, the blend was an essential element, a creative act.

Today, as in 1818, Veuve Clicquot Rosé is a fine example of our House’s blending savoir-faire. Cellar Master Domonique Demarville and his team of experts select excellent quality red wines and still wines from some of the most sought-after vineyards in Champagne, to find the flavors and characteristics that perfectly express the Veuve Clicquot Rosé style.

98 Points & #26 Top 100 Wines of 2016 - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"A very youthful '95. Delicate. Intense aromas of ginger, citrus, candied berry and multigrain bread turn to honey, roasted almonds and graphite on the palate. It's all underscored by a precise structure and creamy texture. Its structure keeps it persistent through the long finish. A picture of precision and intensity. Drink now through 2025. 1,700 cases imported." — BS (Jul 31, 2006)
